Porterfield’s Flowers and Gifts

While traveling in Finland the need arose for a floral tribute for a Navy shipmate’s memorial service to be held in a small rural town outside Topeka. Porterfield’s was recommended by a family member, and I contacted them using email and phone and text. I communicated with Lee and explained my needs including a very special «non standard» banner to be attached to the floral piece. My every expectation was met, and I was throughly pleased with the result. I can imagine a finer work of floral artistry!

After reading Madison’s review, facing a similar challenge being far away from my Mom around Mother’s Day, Patrick and David really went the distance to help me provide a gorgeous planter for my Mom-​which she loved! I highly recommend Porterfield’s!

I have family in Topeka and have the need to use a florist a couple of times a year. I call Porterfield’s direct and bypass the stock items of the big name 800 florists. I am very pleased with the quality of the product and freshness. Their arrangements are upscale and sophisticated. I always get good feedback from my recipients.
I have only been in the shop once and they have a great assortment of gifts as well and excellent customer service.

I work in California and needed to arrange for flowers to be sent to a very obscure part of Kansas that not many florists are willing to venture. I found Porterfield’s Flowers and decided to take a gamble and contact Mandi, their Manager, to see if their shop would be willing to take my order. At first, she said that they do not normally deliver out that far and was willing to do some research for me in the hopes of finding someone closer to my desired destination. After a couple of email exchanges she let me know that they would in fact be willing to drive out that way without charging me an astronomical delivery fee like most places I am accustomed to dealing with in my area. She made it very easy to make arrangements over the phone and followed up with emails letting me know that the delivery was a success.
The arrangement I selected was beautiful and the customer service extraordinary. Overall, if I ever need flowers delivered in that area I know who to call. Thanks Mandi and to your team of lovely florists for a great first experience.
