This place was not that good and they are now closed. Cocos is the new place — and it is wonderful!

Lunch time: only 1 other table held a guest or guests during our meal. Attentive staff Food was sub-par. Chicken /veggie /rice bowl lacked in ANY flavor with the exception of charred soy. Finding any crab in the Crab Rangoon was like searching for the proverbial needle. There was far more batter than chicken in the Sweet & Sour Chicken — and the dish itself lacked flavor as well — this despite the abundance of onion, vegg, and pineapple. Definitely worth skipping.

Small menu, clean environment, overall the staff is nice and helpful. For a new business, I think they’re doing it right. Casual atmosphere with TVs on in the corner. The food was ok. Not the best, not the worst. This part of town doesn’t have any other Asian food restaurants, so I think they’ll do well. Especially if they stop letting the presumably foreign exchange high school student who doesn’t understand English, try to take orders.

I’m so glad to see a quality Far East restaurant established in Far East Topeka! Finally, us folks living near Lake Shawnee can dine on egg drop soup and such near home… This was my third visit, and it made me happy! I’ll provide more info soon! Please know, this review implies no criticism of the Asian food restaurants located near 29th and Kansas Ave. I simply want all to know that GOODASIANFOOD is available here, and it should be supported. Come on in, and check it out! Let’s make sure these folks stay in business. Agent Luke, Over and Out P. S. Dairy Queen is next door for those with a sweet tooth like mine :-D
