would have never stopped in if it weren’t for the big banner on the front of the building. America’s Best Subs! actually, I can’t say where I’ve had better… fast, fresh, really good!

The bobby with vegetarian turkey is ah-mazing! I ate it so fast that I didn’t even get to snap a pic… well that, and I was eating it while I was driving my daughter to hip-hop class! Soft white roll topped with sliced veg turkey, cranberry sauce, stuffing and mayo. Sweet and savory all rolled into a sandwich. The small size is a healthy portion and can easily be two meals if you add in a side dish like a salad and chips… but I was starving and ate the whole thing for breakfast/lunch. Service here is always fast and friendly. I like how they chant«beer money» when you tip them. Some do it with more excitement than others, but either way, fun environment for the workers. If your in a big rush, just call in your order and it’s usually ready in 10 – 15.

Every time I come here, i get the bobby, which consists of shredded turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce and mayonnaise. This sandwich is seriously addicting, and makes me ask myself, «why don’t we just order fifteen of these on Thanksgiving?» A good lunch spot if you’re on break in between classes at El Camino Community College, just a few blocks away.

Fast and friendly service ! The Bobbi is thanksgiving in a sandwich and just about the best cold sandwich I’ve ever had! The Philly is fantastic and there’s just no comparing their honey Hawaiian BBQ chips… Oh yes worth a trip just for those!!!

Discovered this gem that I pass by often on Hawthorne and Artesia… very friendly counter person who gave us great suggestions. My hot Italian sandwich was awesome. I will be back!

First time I had Capriottis was at the Vegas location. My BF introduced me to the place and let me say I fell in love! I ordered the chicken cheesesteak with lettuce tomatoes onions and mushrooms. Delicious! I came to this location and tried the same sandwich and still decisions! I also tried the cheesesteak which was good but I prefer the chicken cheesesteak! Customer service was good too and bathrooms were clean!

Vegetarian review: Great place for a sandwich. They have 4 different kinds, but I think the best by far are: — Veggie Cole Turkey– veggie meat(turkey?) slices, Russian sauce(like thousand island, but better), cheese slice(provolone, I think), & cole slaw. — Veggie cheese steak– pretty good too, but not quite as flavorful. Veggie steak strips, I with grilled veggies(onions, bell peppers, mushrooms) and melted cheese. At their restaurants, they always have a check in for a free drink or chips. Just depends on the location. Get a stamp card. Parking– itty bitty lot.

Rarely do I give reviews around this bracket. Maybe it was an off day but unfortunately the feeling sank in as soon as I walk through the door. This is just personable preference but I was under the impression that this was a mom and pop store. When I saw the set up, sure, it’s fairly clean but it’s just so… so…basic. Most of their signature sandwiches include mayo which I’m not a fan of so I got the pastrami specialty sandwich which did not include mayo. Again personal preference. Upon receiving the sandwich, it was a delight seeing how large the sandwich looked overall, however, upon taking bites out of the sandwich, for a pastrami, there wasn’t enough of it. Absolutely NONE of the meat fell out of the sandwich, mainly the cole slaw which was pretty good. The swiss cheese was a nice touch but too much of it in every bite, considering the little meat that was in it. The sandwich in the end felt too controlled and secure and safe. Going back to personal preference but I believe a good sandwich should have a more generous amount of meat in it, especially for a pastrami sandwich. On the way back to the car, the stomach ache kicked in. Yep, sadly was feeling discouraged in the tummy, not the most pleasant one and normally I’m a healthy eater. Will I return? Very unlikely. The rating for two says«I’ve experienced better.» I can already think of…7…no…at least a dozen different sandwich places where I’ve had at least a better pastrami sandwich, let alone a regular sandwich. Sorry Capriotti. I felt the good intentions from the service and the vibe but unfortunately not in the sandwich.

Went to Capriotti’s for a quick dinner while trying to get to the 405. It is located in a strip mall on Hawthorne Blvd. It caught my attention because they claim to have excellent sandwiches. I ended up ordering the Capistrami since I like pastrami. Now, the best thing about this sandwich was the fact that they add cole slaw to the sandwich. It made an interesting, yet delicious pairing! The pastrami itself was a little salty for my taste. But overall, it’s a decent sandwich. I don’t think I would crave the sandwich, but I may stop by again if I’m hungry and needing a quick bite again

Meh. Ordered the roast beef sub and the capastrami. Had to return the roast beef. The meat was shredded but really cold and hard. It had no flavor and there was very little of it. Returned that and ordered the Italian sub. It was marginally better but again very little meat. Dominant flavors were bread and lettuce. Capastrami had very little pastrami but the cole slaw was a nice touch. The place was dirty too. We have no reason to return.

You really could drive up and down Hawthorne Blvd and totally miss this place because its not even street level, so its easy to be missed. The good part is there is a small entrance(Northbound only) just North of Artesia. If your heading any other direction, your gonna be cutting thru shared parking lots off Artesia or Redondo Beach to get to the store. Sounds tiring or complicated? Its not… and its totally worth it. The staff has been very fast and friendly serving up the sandwiches that I have bought here, so there is little down time. The Bobbie(Turkey, cranberry, and stuffing) will continue to bring be back into the store. This place is worth trying out. They also have an app for smart phones to track your usage which offers discounts and rewards for return visits.

I ate here for the first time on Sept 2nd right before noon and it was delicious. The cashier Monrea was very knowledgeable with the sandwiches and suggested that I tried THEBOBBIE, now I’m not sure whose idea was it to create a thanksgiving-like sandwich for all year BUTKUDOSTOTHEM!!! I love dressing! The cook who made my sandwich made it so well, it was very juicy!!! I would definitely recommend this place! The place is clean Great parking They have a restroom, You can dine in And the workers are friendly! Thank you ladies!!!

First time coming here and I was pretty impressed. Much better than subway, but does not have the variety. I got their«Bobbie» sandwich which is turkey, stuffing, and cranberry sauce. The turkey is shredded and not deli slices which was a nice change from the usual turkey sandwich. This sandwich tastes like thanksgiving between bread. I really liked this sandwich and would come back again. The sandwich from here was also enormous. I usually have a good appetite and could only eat half of a small.

I love me a good sammie, and capriotti’s makes some good sammies! I like Philly cheesesteaks, and they make a pretty good one, but hubby swears the pastrami is where it’s at. They put some amazing coleslaw in it, and I took a bite and it was pretty damn tasty. And I don’t really like pastrami. Their sizes are big, small one is enough to share, but I like to eat half and save the other half for later. Mmmmm!

Nice, spotless sandwich shop. Greeted with smiles and a hello when stepping into the store. Wife recommended I try the Bobby. Sandwiches come in three sizes: small, medium & large. Wow! Ordered a medium size and got a hugely long 12 inch sandwich, making my eyes happy. Price was… Wait my wife treated me, so I don’t know ;) Then the stomach became happy after a first bite. Soft, fresh bread; the Bobby was like biting into Thanksgiving. Sandwich consisted of moist turkey meat with warm, nicely seasoned stuffing. Cranberry sauce had a sweet-tart zing to it that I really liked. Only slight constructive criticism I had was the mayo wasn’t spread evenly throughout. Hey nothing a plastic knife couldn’t have fixed. Tastefully run place, would come back to try some of their other menu items.

I had the Capastrami and it was delicious. Soft bread, flavorful pastrami, sweet Russian sauce and crunchy coleslaw. Even though the place was small, it didn’t seem to bother anyone because everyone took there sandwich home to enjoy. Fast and friendly service with a great sandwich is a combination that I’m excited to experience again. Check in here to receive a free large drink and I mean a LARGE drink.

Delicious sandwiches! Just took off a star because the cashier specifically said that we could check in on Unilocal to get a free drink. Didn’t notice until we got home and looked at the receipt that it wasn’t honored. The Italian was definitely worth trying. There is an option to get it hot or cold – I ordered it hot with grilled onions and hot peppers. I liked it a lot because there were different types of meat in it, including salami and pastrami, and the hot peppers gave it a little more oomph. The Caprastrami was also really good. The pastrami wasn’t super salty or fatty. It was well-balanced with the cheese and coleslaw. I think that the Italian is a better deal though. The breads for both sammies weren’t super crispy where it would scratch the insides of my mouth; the bread for both were soft and not soggy. Capriotti’s is pretty much nationwide. I would return to this or another location to see what the buzz is about their turkey sandwiches. Are the daily, fresh-roasted turkeys really amazing? I can’t wait to find out.

Great… great…great! Amazing sandwiches! This location is fairly small with a small seating area of tables, and the parking lot is kinda strange at an awk angle. The service was neither or good nor bad, just okay compared with many others I’ve been to. Still, it’s a 4.0 star, but low. Randy’s Top 4 Capriotti Sandwiches: #1 «The Bobbie» —(to die for) — moist and tender shredded turkey, cranberry sauce, and STUFFING. Yes! #2 Meatball —(thats’a Italian to you) — great and meaty balls, super good, great sauce. #3 Roast Beef —(so dang good!) — cooked right there in the shop, super moist and tender, and shredded. Gimme gimme! #4 Chicken cheesesteak —(The Pope would say«holy moly») — tender chicken cuts, get the works with cheese, mushrooms, peppers, and onions! First, you have to know, the secret to a good sandwich is the bread. Here, at Capriotti’s, they know HOWTODOITRIGHT! Second, it’s hard not to get a LARGE. The prices are crazy good. Roughly, $ 8 for 9″, $ 10 for 12″, and $ 14 for a BIG20″. C’mon! Capriotti’s is my favorite chain sandwich shop! There are many locations, find one nearest you(or move closer to one!)

Capriotti’s Sandwiches are a cut above other sandwich shops! While they offer the usual turkey/roast beef-type sub sandwiches, the Cap’s Specials on the menu are where it’s at! I’ve heard nothing but good things about the«nationally-acclaimed best seller» they call«The Bobbie,» as well as the Capastrami and the Cheese Steak. I decided to try the first two of these crowd pleasers. Food: — The Bobbie — Turkey, cranberry sauce, stuffing, and mayo. Thanksgiving in a sandwich! I loved everything about this sub except for that fact that it is served COLD! Imagine my disappointment when I expected a bite of warm Thanksgiving dinner only to have it taste like Thanksgiving leftovers straight from the fridge! Don’t get me wrong, it’s still a tasty sandwich, but trust me when I say it tastes 10x better as a hot sandwich! — Capastrami — Hot pastrami, Swiss cheese, Russian dressing, and cole slaw. One of the best pastrami sandwiches I’ve had! I’m not a huge fan of pastrami, but my Dad wanted to try it, so I took a bite and almost didn’t want to give him back his sandwich! The pastrami is tender and not overly fatty, and the flavors from the Russian dressing and cole slaw add a perfect tanginess! So good! GETTHIS! Service: Friendly and helpful employees. I ordered my sandwiches to-go, and the cashier even offered me a cup of water while I waited for my food. My order was ready before I knew it! The sandwiches were made so fast, I thought they called me up to ask me a question about my order when instead, my food was packed and set to go! I’ll be back to get(my own) Capastrami, as well as try out some of Cap’s other specials!

I found out about Capriottis when we were living in Vegas where they have numerous store fronts to feed your belly. This place serves some of the best sandwiches I have ever had the pleasure of biting into. Let’s start off with they’re signature sandwich The Bobbie. This beautiful specimen is basically thanksgiving served on a sandwich. Juicy turkey, cranberry sauce and stuffing. I remember the first time I heard of this I was hesitant, but I also remember my first bite of this masterpiece and my life was forever changed. WOW it’s dayum good! Their signature Capasatrami and steak and mushroom are also sandwiches of wonder and amazement. It would be wrong of me to not mention they’re awesome staff. Every location I’ve been to has always been super friendly. Be nice and give them a little«beer money.»
