My darling 8 year old daughter swallowed a magnet. We took her to the ER and followed up with our pediatrician. After a few days the magnet had not moved. The pediatrician consulted Dr Kahana. He called me (after hours!) and discussed his concerns and came up with a plan. He followed up with me the next morning to see how my daughter was doing and stayed in contact with me throughout the next day while a treatment plan was being finalized. He was very thorough and answered all of my questions. His concern for her well-being seemed very genuine. I would definitely consult Dr Kahana if we have any more GI issues!

I wish Dr. Kahana can be my PCP. He is very professional, knowledgeable, and very helpful. I came in with plenty of GI issues and questions, and he was very willing and happy to help me with finding solutions. On top of that, his staff are very friendly and go out of their way to make sure that I am comfortable. Another STAR for Dr. Kahana for returning my phone calls seeking for professional help and advice! Again, he is definitely the doctor to go to if you have any nutrition concerns. I highly recommend him! :) Thank you Dr. Kahana!

I can’t say enough about Dr. Kahana. He is wonderful and caring. He is taking care of my 9 year old daughter who was diagnosed with viral pancreatitis. Dr. Kahana was able to explain everything to us and has made our little girl comfortable. He is so gentle and kind which is so important to a child. I feel blessed that he was brought in on her case. My trust in him is 100%. Fabulous doctor!
