Dr. Dinsmore is a very good Dr. but do not ever both eyes done close together because you will run out of eye drops and Beth in the office WILLDOABSOLUTELYNOTHING to work with your pharmacy to see that you get them. The receptionist gave me incorrect information as well… Ask Dr. Dinsmore all your questions, do not rely on his help for anything.

I was a patient at this clinic for several years, as I didnt know any better. AVOIDTHISPLACE! A mistake their office worker made cost me several hundred dollars out of pocket, not to mention I was regularly overcharged for my insurance services. There are better, more patient-oriented places. During my visits I’ve seen older people arguing with receptionists about their payments, it seems like they specialize by ripping you off little by little on every step. Doctors themselves are knowledgeable yet this office is a business and theyre just making money.

I’ve had the greatest experiences here. I’d had various trouble with my contacts, with dry eyes, and with allergic reactions in my eyes. All the staff was professional and friendly. Doctor Alkana was wonderful, making sure I understood everything that was going on and dealing with every issue with my eyes. He’s helped me find contacts that work better for me and control the seasonal allergies that affect my eyes. I would recommend him to anyone.

Was not upfront with me. Procedures ordered were posed as just precautionary to rule out some possibilities that were not likely and they ended up costing me tons of money — Dr. Alkana gave no warning or indication of the typical costs of these procedures. I was just told that they were sending me to a place that accepted my insurance. I looked up estimated costs of the procedures through my health insurance and the place that Dr. Alkana referred me to charged double that price after my insurance network adjustment. Something’s wrong here.

Seemed like I spent a week there one day. Made an appointment 2 weeks out. Arrived and filled in typical paperwork. Waited at least 30 minutes after appointed time before I was taken to the examining room. Sat there for another 30 minutes until the tech sticks his head in and says there was«an emergency» and the doctor would be right with me. Another 30 – 40 minutes goes by befor the doctor shows. He spends maybe 15 minutes and gives me an exam. Since this was to be my first set of «real» glasses, I asked him what the situation was and what my options were. He had NOTIME for that. I guess 5 minutes of his time is much more important than the hour and half I waited. He says for me to go see the optomitrist in the lobby of his offe and he’ll tell me about glasses. Evident his guy Ken had better things to do because his section was deserted. There are plent of places to get your eyes checked, give this one a pass.
