Dream U.S. Tae Kwon Do

My son goes here– and loves it, as do I, because the emphasis is on improving yourself– mind And Body. Master Pak and Master Adam bring out the best in the girls and boys they teach, through a mix of humor and good examples. They encourage good character traits by allowing children who do «40 acts of /​good trait such as kindness (the trait changes month to month)» with a special party. This studio is much much more than a place to learn taekwando. It’s a place where kids learn to take responsibility for themselves, see the reward of working hard toward goals and are appreciated for their effort. The studio is diverse in color, shape, gender and learning abilities. Special needs students are welcomed. It’s a well run, inclusive studio– you won’t find a better place to learn martial arts!

Too bad theres only 5 stars. This studio deserves 10! Grand master and Master Adam are truly what every Tae Kwon Do instructors should be like. They truly care about children who come to practice. Attention all other Martial Arts inTorrance!!! Come and see how its done. These people are just amazing. Thank You! My daughter loves it!

This post is way overdue. My son has been coming here since August of last year. He started out as a shy, intimidated kid and has already become so confident and outgoing now. He absolutely loves this place and loves both Masters (father and son). They both teach very differently but bring a very unique style in the way they teach. We were introduced to this place by a friend and it seems like most of the people that attend come here just from word of mouth.
We had my son’s graduation party here today and everyone had a blast and parents were already asking how to get their kids enrolled. I highly recommend this place.

My son has been going to Dream US for a few years now. I can’t say enough good things about it. Grand Master Pak and Master Adam are completely engaged with the kids. My son loves to go to class and even if it is one of those days and he doesn’t feel like going, he is always glad he went. They are are masters at teaching respect and self-​discipline. Adam has a great sense of humor and is charismatic. Pak comes off as a little stoic (as a Grand Master should) but he has a soft spot in his heart for the kids. My son loves them both. He is now a red belt and so proud of his accomplishments at TKD. His focus has improved greatly since attending. I am hoping my daughter will want to attend in a few years as well.

We love this place. Our son has learned to focus more and the value of working hard to earn his belts. The masters are a father and son team and you feel like family there. The students love what they are learning and respect their masters! I love seeing improvement in my son during his class and at home! Children enjoy both working and playing hard, while also learning and being encouraged to practice disciplines at home such as cleaning up after themselves, having good study habits, maintaining good health, etc.) A great activity for both girls and boys — there’s a good mix of both in the classes.

I have tried many Tae Kwon Do places before deciding to enroll my children to Dream US. My two boys are 4 and 5 yrs old. They were the ones who decided to finally enroll here after trying the other places. Master Adam is great with kids. He uses humor but also teaches them great form and discipline. Other parents love it here as well. They also have different events such as the upcoming halloween party.

My kids love this place! They are always so excited to go to class and they get so much out of it! Master Pak has taught my kids respect, self-​discipline, and motivation. My kids are more focused in school and their grades are much better. They also don’t have so much spare energy to burn at home. Thank you so much Master Pak!

This is the best Tae kwon Do studio ever. The owner, Master Adam, and his father, Master Pak are the most wonderful instructors you can find. They are fun, and loving, while at the same time they demand respect. A perfect balance. My oldest son has tried just about every sport, but has fallen in love with Tae Kwon Do. Now my younger son has enrolled and even my husband and I have started adult classes too! I have recommended this studio to several friends and they instantly love it as much as we do. You must give it a try! Plus, it is one of the most reasonable studios around. I really can’t rave enough about Masters Adam and Pak. Come and see for yourselves!

dream u.s. tkd is definitely the best martial arts studio i’ve been to. i grew up with martial arts, and i have been to a few different studios and some of the other studios really are shameful. they’re just interested in making money and you could tell they do not have any passion about what they do. the masters at dream u.s. tkd (master adam and grandmaster pak) really care about their students, regardless of age, and they are very good with children. they know how to discipline, and really get their points across, and they are able to get the students to understand values, morals, and ethics as well. they train very hard and their curriculum is really able to get you into shape. the only reason i am not able to still go to the studio is because i moved away for school which is about a two hour drive from the studio, but i am definitely planning on going back.

My son started taking classes at this studio about two months ago when I got a coupon in a south bay mailer. I cannot say how much I like this studio. My son is almost 6 and plays other sports, but loves Tae Kwon Do — it has built up his self confidence, his concentration and strength. Although the Masters do come off as strict — they are also caring and patient and want to make sure your child is getting what they are teaching and do so in a way that builds the childs self confidence and sense of accomplishment. They will spend time with each individual child to reinforce a certain step/​skill — i’ve been very impressed with the level of teaching and love for the sport that they have instilled in my son as well as the other skills that have come along with learning Tae Kwon Do.

I had been looking for a place to start my kids in Tae Kwon Do, and I am so glad that I stopped in here while driving by. It is a brand new studio, having just opened in the fall of 2009. I have two kids, a 5 year-​old and a 9 year-​old, and they love coming to their classes.
There are two instructors, Master Pak, and Master Adam. Master Pak is excellent at knowing what each child is capable of, and expects everyone to give 100%. Although he comes across on the strict side, he has a deep affection for the kids. Master Adam is the younger instructor and is very friendly and always happy to see you when you come in.
The studio is bright and clean with an area in front for parents to watch the classes. Parking is plentiful and right outside the door.
I can’t offer a comparison to other Tae Kwon Do places, because I haven’t been anywhere else, but I really like it here because my kids are so proud of what they are learning.
