TO THE OWNER:
If someone orders a burrito/​chips/​drink combo and tells your employee to keep the drink, therefore saving you the cost of the cup and soda, DON’T punish the customer by charging them MORE for a single burrito!
Furthermore, don’t tell your customers that they should’ve just taken the drink and thrown it away to get the combo price. When I asked the manager to explain, she said «it’s the owner’s policy».
HORRIBLE customer service.

This review is not for the food but the service this has to be one of the most unorganized places it small not too busy but yet servers have no clue what is going on. There food is great but trust you are better off making drive to the redondo beach location.

One day we ate here for breakfast, lunch, and then dinner. That should be enough said to tell you how big their menu is and how delicious their food. This chain (this location is specifically my favorite) is the best mexican food I’ve found in LA for the price.

Wow. Horrible. Not only are they rude, but the food is not even good.
We walk in there as first timers. No one greets us. After 4 min. Standing waiting on someone to either take our order or tell us to sit, we are about to leave when a Hispanic man tells us to sit. He doesn’t bring us chips and salsa as we wait. 5min later. He gets out drinks. Still no chips and salsa. As we wait for our food they’re joking around in Spanish with not so friendly language. Mind you, we have a child with us. A white couple comes in, and immediately they seat them, get them chips and salsa & drinks. Wtf?
Yea, best believe we left a penny as a tip. This place lacks in food. The enchiladas taste like canned tomato sauce and canned beans. Not authentic at all.
If I could give them 0 stars I would.
Never again going back. The hard shell tacos are nasty. It’s a plain tortilla soaked in oil and pressed on grilled to give it that «hard shell» taste/​look.

Always happy with the quality of food here. Usually call in a chicken burrito or breakfast burrito for pickup. The chicken is sooooo good! They never give you scrap chicken, but the best, juiciest pieces. They are almost always busy, so call order in with plenty of time in advance so you won’t have to wait upon pickup.

Okay, so I just finished my El Burrito Jr. dinner. I got a ground beef taco and a side of mole to taste. I did not like the taco at all. The ground beef had no flavor, the tortilla was overcooked, and there was a pool of water in the foil. The mole was too tart. I also tried some carne asada, again… no flavor. I guess that’s what the salsa is for.

I am very disappointed in the service and racial discrimination I received today. I always order the 8 buck lunch special and never have I paid over 9 dollars. When I go there the girl had an attitude she rudely asked me what my number was then she slammed my food on the counter then started pushing all these buttoms and said my total wa 9.86. wtf then I had to ask for my drink and she said to her coworker pour her and orange bang «small». She didn’t give me my receipt and when I was leaving in Spanish he said I a got another black one as they giggled. NOT ALL SPANISH SPEAKING PEOPLE ARE WHITE. I will make sure to tell all my coworkers at torrance memorial hospital you all are prejudice.

5 Five stars for all the locations but this one!
I have been going to El Burrito Jr since the 80s. My favorite has been the Redondo Beach location. And my 3 year old will only eat burritos from El Burrito Jr (Bean and Cheese). So finally was able to go this location… What a disappointment.
I ordered the Albondigas soup. All the meatballs were slighty brown on the outside and pink on the inside. So I showed them to the server. And although the servers were nice enough they seemed incapable of helping. She just said I dont want you to leave unhappy but I wanted Albondigas not a burrito or anything else. They were unwilling to fix the soup. It really felt like they were telling me no soup for you and deal with it!
Not planning on going to this location anytime soon.

In the fast food category, five stars: tasty food, friendly, quick service. Thee place is very simple but clean, tidy and has a good vibe. Chile Relleno for breakfast was very good and it hit the spot. Cost was very reasonable and portion size was generous at $ 6.50 plus $ 0.75 for coffee. Very reasonable. Outdoor patio, albeit noisy, allows dog owners to dine with their pets. Ample parking and easy access right off the PCH. Will come back with the family.

The best «hole in the wall» authentic Mexican food around for a great price! I have been here a million times and it is always super. The people are nice and friendly and the place just SMELLS clean on top of being clean… even the restrooms are nice, moderne and clean!

Delicious! My burrito was simply delicious, ate the whole thing! The service is great, the ladies are very attentive and polite. I love their wet burritos and salsa!

I honestly just love the wet burritos here. I always come here to order either a super deluxe burrito or junior deluxe burrito. It’s the perfect food for when you just crave messy, fatty Mexican food. They also give you a crap ton of tortilla chips with your order. I can’t even eat them all lol
I have tried their breakfast burritos. They’re pretty good, actually. Much better than other places in the area.
The one issue I had the last time I tried to go was that their phone line wasn’t working. I try to order and just pick up, so that I don’t have to wait at the restaurant, but I could not do so last time.

called in my order the girl in the phone said 15min. I waited 15min then drove to this location and my order wasn’t ready to pick up and go… They started making it when I got there… What a waste of time! I’m starving and annoyed. Grab and go was the reason for calling it in. Duh! Geeze…

The 2 foot burrito could feed a small family for a week. Best deal in town. Of course if you eat it on your own in 20 minutes or something like that it’s free. But make sure you have a high deductible on your health insurance or you will lose out in the long run since it will probably kill you, or at the very least a serious injury.

Best authentic Mexican food in the area! They are cheap and the quality of the food is fantastic! The service is excellent here too! I’ve been here various times and I’m always satisfied with their food and service. Try their Bean and Cheese Burritos, or any Burrito for that matter. There all so delicious and satisfying. Their tacos and fresh ceviche tostadas are also delicious that it must be complemented with a Mexican Horchata or Jamaica!
Delicious food and drinks deserves a must try! You won’t be sorry!

Excellent excellent food.
Their machaca plate, any tortas, and tacos are awesome.
You can also sit down, and the servers are always nice.
And it is way faster and more organized than LBJ pch and ave B (although that place is bomb too)

I am new to the area. I am always in the mood for good Mexican food. This placed has wowed me from HELLO ! Best rice and beans, great burritos, delicious salsa.
I can understand why they wait in line outside and the phone rings off the hook This place is # 1 in my book when this type of food comes calling. The whole family loves it !!

I love this place. It has a Spanish scenery feel to it. I ordered a wet burrito and it was huge! It was about a foot long and i had to take half of it home.
Make sure to order the Orange Bang or Horchata. That can never go wrong!
This place is very affordable and good. I would deff come back.
