I found JJ through a friend of a friend when I moved to Torrance. I was very nervous to find a new hair stylist because I am very particular about my blonde highlights. She is very good at color and follows directions well regarding cuts. I definitely recommend her if you are a blonde!

I’ve been getting my hair cut and colored by J.J. for a couple years now. (See the review I wrote for her on the Encore page.) I had not gone to a stylist regularly for many years before I found J.J.
J.J. is very experienced and professional. She knows how to cut and she knows how to color — like the back of her hand. I have her color my hair once a month to cover the gray, and her color work is great and keeps my hair healthy. She also cuts or trims my hair regularly and she is a wiz at cutting. Fast, and efficient but always paying attention, J.J. is sensitive to what you want, even if you keep changing your mind!
I highly recommend J.J. if you are looking for new hair stylist or for a color artist. And Encore Salon is nice too — clean, modern, free coffee and tea, wi-​fi, plenty of parking, and everyone who works there is friendly.
