Dr. Kim is great, but I learned this is a shared staff with another doctor. The staff is usually nice, but I got some attitude from one of the ladies in the front. I understand there are a lot of cranky patients, since most of them, including myself, experienced some serious trauma to their bodies. Because of this, the staff needs to be trained to handle these kinds of patients all day, regardless of the time of day(especially at the end of the day!). All of my experiences here were actually okay until my last one about 2 months ago. It’s unfortunate that a bad experience sticks so well. The inside staff are incredible, and make you feel welcome. Dr. Kim does not give a patient extra time and attention… BUT… patients need to understand that he’s EXTREMELYBUSY! He will answer all the questions you have, but he’ll rush to the next patient because there are just so many. He’s very very experienced, and very smart. I trust him with full faith in getting my broken leg back to normal. I am almost fully healed now, and I want to thank him and his team for doing such a great job. Dr. Kim is a 5-STAR SURGEON. So is Dr. Leung, who operated on me. The front staff dragged this down a bit, leaving me a very sour feeling. Most of the patients are here due to the network, but you do not need to worry one bit if you’re being treated by Dr. Kim or Dr. Leung.

This review is for Jeff spychalski… he is the worst doctor I’ve ever encountered. Not only did he misdiagnose me, he was rude and mean.

This is a review for Dr. Jefferey Spychalsky at this Dr. Office. I have not experienced Dr. Kim so I couldn’t comment on his professionalism. Dr. Spychalsky is a really great Orthopedic Surgeon. I have had Dr. Spychalsky for my orthorpedic surgeon twice performing rotator cuff surgery on both my left and right. The first time my experience was a bit off to start with but right after surgery the whole mood changed and Dr. Spychalsky was very welcoming and warm. The second time I used him for my left rotator cuff, I felt like I was seeing an old friend. His bedside manner only improves the more you are acquainted with him. He is very thorough in his office, his staff is very competent and his surgery scheduling manager(her name escapes me) is just AWESOME. If you need some work done, do not hesitate to ask for Dr. Jeffery Spychalsky.

Definitely NOT a «people doctor» maybe if I looked more Korean I might have«cracked his code» but he is very impersonal, avoids eye contact with you, dislikes technical questions especially if its’s about oh… Well… YOURPENDINGSURGERYANDRECOVERY! Unfortunately, this quack is one of the only TWO Orthopedists you would be referred to if you’re stuck with Healthcare Partners(Little Company of Mary). Better to switch to another IPA then let this glorified sashimi chef go to town on the operating table with me!

Wait time is terrible-average 45 minutes minimum! !! Re the Doctor-No eye contact, cant work the computer to view my discs without hellp from staff, and-well– not a «helpful type person! Seems like a selfish person– of the 4 minutes he tried to speak. Went with another Dr in Long Beach.
