I got my dress here back in January. Valory was the one who helped me. I thought they had Great customer service! From the day I bought my wedding dress till my wedding just this September I thought they were amazing! I had previously went to David’s bridal and went to Alfred angelo for my bridesmaids dresses but this place by far had the best service! My mom loved them and she is hard to please! I gave them my budget and I swear the dress I bought was even wayyyyy below the budget I said. For me that made me feel like they wanted me to be in the best dress I felt my best in and not try to up sell me a dress in the price my budget was only! I loved my dress, belt and veil! I got so many complement on my dress and veil that day. I would highly recommend them!

I had an appointment here last week with Liz. It was actually my first bridal fitting alone(and in LA) since I decided to do the first few out of town so that I could be with family. The place itself was very nice… and clean, unlike some others I had visited. My budget was $ 1,600 and I was concerned that I wouldn’t have many options, since their prices go to… I believe $ 5,000? But once we sat down and discussed what I was looking for, Liz pulled plenty of options for me to try. Also, they allow photos, which was very important to me, since I was alone! And Liz helped me get the best pictures she could, by getting me at all angles in the natural light. Side note: I loved their big, open dressing rooms, too! I ended up trying on a dress that very quickly became my new favorite. It was just right. But I am not one for rash decisions, so I wasn’t going to rush to purchase that day. I think being alone played a role in that, as well. I did not feel any pressure from Liz, which I appreciated. Low and behold, my fiancé and I have had to rearrange our budget and I have decided to rent a dress instead of purchasing one. If I had the money, I would absolutely give it to them. They(Liz) helped me find what may actually end up being«the dress» and since I can’t thank them by giving them my business, the next best thing I can do is leave a review and bring them more. So… thank you for your help! You were my favorite bridal shop I visited! And I can’t stop thinking about the dress!

I came here as my second bridal salon to look at dresses. Upon walking in and looking around they didn’t seem to have very many dresses and are in major need of a remodel or even just a new coat of paint, everything is dirty including the floor. I met with Valerie and she was very sweet and pulled all the dresses in my budget and in the style I wanted. They didn’t have too many that were low back but I tried on about 3 along with other styles. We narrowed it down to two dresses and I decided on one that same day. All in all the service was great. The negative about La Soie: I am 5’5, 130 lbs and am normally a size 4 – 6. They ONLY have size 12 sample dresses to try on so when I received my dress 4 months later in a size 8(they measure you and tell you your size prior to ordering) I was NOT happy with the fit. Here I thought the dress I purchased was my dream dress, was just not right at all. Prior to ordering it they told me that nothing would be different on it and it would fit me the same way they had clipped it. Once it arrived in store for me to pick it up, I put it on and immediately was not happy with it at all. The front was super high and the back was not as low as it was when I initially tried it on in the 12. I specifically asked them prior to spending $ 1500 on my dress if anything would really be different considering it was a larger sample size, and they said no that it would only need minor alterations mainly in the length. All in all, I ended up not wearing this wedding dress and now have to figure out where to sell it. I would also recommend if you are looking for bridesmaid dresses not to waste your time here, they don’t have a big selection at all and I was told they can’t order them in other colors or sizes.

A dear friend of mine is getting married! Yay! She invited me to go dress shopping since La Soie was hosting an event called, Brides Across America. They actually pay a fee to participate in this event! FREE dresses for military brides! It’s their way of giving back to the community. Well being Asian and all, anything FREE I am there! Kara was our dress consultant. She knew that we came for a free dress and sincerely helped us to find the one as if we were paying for it. I really liked her! She was so cheerful and excited to help us with anything and everything. The fact that Kara was not pushy or rushed us made our experience so memorable. At first I thought this was too good to be true, but my friend literally got a legit wedding dress for FREE. They bagged it up and we left! Wooohoo! — Make an appointment — Request for Kara — You can only try on 4 dresses at a time. — Clean restroom — High heels are available upon request. — Spacious dressing rooms — Feel free to take a bunch of pictures.

I had an AMAZING experience here. Having read some of the previous reviews I booked my appointment with Kara. She was patient, attentive and clearly very knowledgeable on what looks good on different people. I didn’t have a clear idea of what I wanted or what would look good on me so I was pretty open to her opinion. She picked out some beautiful dresses similar to the pictures I brought in but also some for me to try that were different silhouettes. She ended up pulling a dress completely different from what I went in thinking I might have liked and that was the dress I ended up purchasing that day! She was not pushy at all and let me take my time with photos and chatting with my sister– she was super understanding about how it’s such a big decision. If you’re new to wedding dress shopping, it’s definitely overwhelming. The dresses all sort of look the same and are not very flattering on the rack, but they totally transform once you get clipped in. So having a knowledgeable consultant like Kara is a must. I was worried that I wouldn’t be able to get my dress in time since my wedding is less than 6 months away, but they were able to order my dress with a delivery date a month before my wedding. My dress ended up coming in a month early giving me plenty of time for alterations. They don’t have a super huge inventory, but the dresses that they do have are all very beautiful and reasonably priced. I highly recommend checking this place out and booking with Kara.

I LOVED my whole experience here! I bought my dress here for my wedding and throughout the whole process all the girls were amazing. Everyone absolutely loved my dress and I am so happy I went here to get it. I tried on my first dress and it was the one I fell in love with. They were very flexible on appointments and their communication was great. I am glad I got my dress here! :)

My sister(the bride) had an appointment with Valory and she asked me(maid of honor) to help her decide between two dresses she loved. Upon arrival, Valory had said hi to my sister and didn’t even bother to look at me. So, like a mature adult, I said hello to Valory. She didn’t acknowledge me at all. No hello back. I was very shocked at how unprofessional her demeanor was. I know she heard me as I have a pretty loud voice. Okay so fine, she doesn’t have good customer service and social skills. Moving on… a little annoyed but not bitter. So my sister is trying on a dress that’s absolutely gorgeous of the two and Valory says that there’s no reason to try on the other dress(with little enthusiasm). And asks why are you hesitant with this choice. So very nicely, I say let’s look at the other one and keep our options open. I’m irritated at this point but not showing it. The whole appointment I felt like all she wanted was a sale and nothing about her seemed sincere. I get it… she probably has tons of appointments but damn show some enthusiasm man! Fake the funk! A little goes a long way! A wedding dress is an important key component in a wedding and choosing a dress is a special moment. It’s not something to be rushed. I’m also engaged and will be going dress hunting fairly soon but because of the poor customer service, lack of compassion, enthusiasm, unfriendly and unprofessional behavior I will not be coming here to give them my business. I can’t speak for anyone else here as the other blonde lady working here seemed very nice and cheerful. But because of the experience I had with Valory, they lost a potential customer. I want to feel appreciated for my business so I’ll take my money elsewhere…

I said«yes» to the dress here! Angela was so helpful and pulled all the dresses I liked– I tried on maybe 10 of them and she was so honest with me. I had a budget and she worked with it. I walked out of here with the perfect dress!

At first glance this store doesn’t seem like much. When I came inside it was an average bridal shop. It’s the first bridal shop that I’ve been into with a lot of dirty gowns. 1⁄3 of the gowns have visible brown and grey stains on the front of the bodice and the bottom half of the gowns. Apart from visible filth of the gowns there were quite a few gowns that were ripe with the smell of stale sweat and old perfume. A lot of their floor samples are very damaged with large visible rips in them. I tried on three gowns that turned out to be either torn inside, had visible internal and external repairs, or smelled too horrible to try on. I had my eye one one gown that was in good shape but I couldn’t get past the smell. When the three gowns did not work out the stylist pulled a selection of new arrival gowns. The stylist tried to push these on me since she would be able to easily order these gowns. None of the new arrival gowns fit the description of what I had pulled originally. While the stylist was friendly and warm, the appointment time ran longer than I expected due to the late start of the appointment. I didn’t appreciate another sale associate telling my stylist to «wrap it up» because they wanted to close the store. It was 30 minutes to posted closing time when she interrupted the appointment. This store seriously needs to Frebreze the gowns, spot treat the dirty parts, and repair the large rips in the gowns.
