Dr. Mastan was witty and succinct. We came here in May, the visit was short and on point. My son liked his sense of humor and enjoyed the experience. The building where Dr. Mastan’s office was located is being revamped or turned into something else. The phone number is no longer in service, so it appears he has retired from this location. According to the receptionist from Dr. Arthur Edelstein’s office,(3737 Martin Luther King Jr Blvd Ste 340, Lynwood, CA90262), he still practices two days in a week there.

Dr. Mastan is hands down the best Ophthalmologist! He’s thorough. He doesn’t rush through appointments like other doctors nor does he run unnecessary tests. He’s personable. He takes time to listen to your concerns and answers your questions. Most importantly Dr. Mastan has tons of experience! Shirley who runs the front is very friendly and makes you feel comfortable. The frame/lens specialist(i didn’t get her name) was very friendly as well. I would definitely recommend Dr. Mastan to friends and family! PSA: I believe their office will be moving to another location. I will post the new address asap.

Always happy to write these type reviews, because Dr. Peter Mastan falls into the, ‘as good as it gets,’ category — NOJOKE. If you need to see an ophthalmologist for whatever reason, Dr. Mastan is where you should go, he has 51 years of experience as an MD, with various hospital affiliations, simply put, he knows what he is doing. His office is modern, with a lens and frame specialist on site. Best of all, his wife runs the front end, and she is the best. My family has embraced this practice for years, and you will also. Bottom line, you get expert treatment, and you are treated like family. IMPORTANT: if you have kids, I can also highly recommend Dr. Mastan, he loves kids and has ideal chair-side manners. My girls(9&11) have enjoyed their experiences in the chair.
