This place isn’t a full restaurant but everything made I’d made with love. Prices are very good for what you get :)

I don’t know about all these reviews about the food. I usually order the tuna sandwich which tastes really good but the veggie sandwich is amazing!!! They have everything from coffee to meals. So what else do you need? I love the convenience of the place(I just moved my business in the business park) and I respect the business the owner runs. Thanks Alice!

This place is so hidden that If you don’t work near the Torrance Business Park /the PS Business Park(located near the intersection of Crenshaw Blvd & Del Amo Blvd), then you will probably never discover this place at all. Despite their hidden location, Mio is a fairly popular deli for people who work in the business plaza. The only other competition within 5-minutes of walking distance is Central Café( ). Pro tips: Line could be long, so call ahead & always remember your order because the staff will not take your name down(310) 320‑4378. Additional $ 0.40 for credit card for $ 5 or less purchase. Not like it matter because all of sandwiches /salads /wraps are more than $ 5. Menu: Hot & cold sandwiches, triple deckers, paninis, salads, wraps, sandwich combo($ 8), half time special(half cold sandwich, small soup, and small drink for $ 5.5), breakfast, coffee & tea, iced drinks(frappes /smoothies), and daily specials(see below) Monday: Malibu chicken sandwich OR spaghetti meatball w/garlic bread & salad Tuesday: Bulgogi OR meat loaf with mashed potato, steamed vegetables Wednesday: 4 tacos, quesadilla, burrito(chicken or beef) Thursday: Teriyaki chicken OR chicken chowmein Friday: Various burgers OR patty melt OR meat loaf OR grilled chicken sandwich Super nice staff, but most likely you will need to try at least 3 different items(or maybe even more … a lot more) before you find the one you MIGHT like. *** Teriyaki chicken(small, $ 5.49): It consisted of three components — steamed vegetables(broccoli, carrots, cabbage), grilled chicken, and rice. I only liked two things — homemade teriyaki sauce(might be too sweet for some people, but I «abused» the entire sauce) and steamed vegetable(good broccoli and cabbage, but carrots tasted bitter). Chicken tasted TOO dry. Oh how I missed the Rascals Teriyaki Grill.(2.5÷5) *** This is the café for you if you don’t want to leave the business plaza; otherwise, I wish you the best of luck for the continual search for the perfect lunch meal! P. S. — Depending on what you order, microwave could be involved in the cooking process. P. P. S. — Chowmein might be a bit greasy and triple deckers(with avocado) is a good starting point for 1st timer.

I’m giving this place full stars because it gives you exactly what you would expect. Cafeteria style food snacks and drinks. Food won’t make you say OMGTHATWASGREAT but it’s decently prepared. My favorite so far is the chorizo and egg burrito and I have no complaints on anything I’ve tried.

Mio’s is a cafeteria style food place located in the middle of a business plaza. They offer a basic quick breakfast and lunch menu. I’ve only tried their turkey sandwiches and breakfast burrito and they are both excellent. They are always generous with the meat!

I work in this business park. You should definitely call in your order prior to coming its really busy during lunches. Today is Tuesday and I had a bulgogi special w/drink. The portion was large and it was good!

Cool place. Good is decent. Better than anything around that area. It may be the only thing around there.

I eat here about 3 times a week because of the convenience of it being the only restaurant within walking distance of my workplace. The ladies inside are friendly but the food needs some work. A microwave is often used.

I work literally two doors down from this place. If I do decide to order from here(since my options are few, besides catering), I have to walk over and order my food approximately two hours ahead from when I plan on being hungry. This includes simple things, like grilled cheese sandwiches and light salads. On the plus side, they’ll walk into your office space and drop it on your desk if you ask them to. Hm… kinda like… the pizza guy, I guess. Sigh.

In one word: cafeteria. Mio’s sits in the PS Business Park technology center, which is full of different businesses, which are full of employees who are left with few options when it comes to lunch within walking distance. I tend to bring my own lunch, but there are a faithful group of guys I work with, that day in and day out, rely on Mio’s. Well wouldn’t luck have it that I forgot my lunch after a long lovely holiday where there was no such thing as getting ready for work. I went along with my faithful group of guys to give it a try. The menu consists of hot sandwiches, cold sandwiches, salads, and soups. They also have specials of the day like tacos or chicken bowls. I went for a portobello panini and the thing that amazed me, was that after only the first bite, I already knew what everything on the menu tasted like. I have worked on sites that have dedicated cafeterias, and in my experience, after eating there ~8−15 times, eventually everything tastes the same regardless of the ingredients. Somehow Mio’s has taken it to the next level. This little theory of mine was proven this morning when I didn’t have time to eat breakfast, so Mio’s it was once again. How, pray tell, does an english muffin with egg and cheese, taste the same as a portobello panini with sun dried tomatoes on ciabatta bread? It’s that cafeteria mojo. A few things to know: the prices are high for the quality of food($ 7 for a salad or sandwich, which includes no side or drink), but I think it’s the convenience you pay for. I have noticed that they put either a lot of butter or a lot of mayo on everything, so make sure you know what their intentions are for your food before you say«that will be all.» There’s a sign saying they take debit/credit cards, but there’s a minimum of a $ 5 purchase. There didn’t seem to be any quick healthy snack — lots of candy, some cookies, and a large selection of chips, but nothing in the way of healthy.
