Moments in Color

Excellent work — we have used LuAnn for events at our church and our daughter’s wedding. Her prices are great and understanding of what is desired wonderful.

Lu Ann runs a home based special events florist business… and has been for more than a decade!
Her experience was immediately evident when we first met with her —
subtle considerations were brought to light… things I never thought about like color coordination, shade, seasonal flowers… and lots of other things that escape my mind. Our first consultation lasted a little over an hour. I have to say though, that she’s a bit more forward with progressing… I felt the need to commit and commit soon which I didn’t really like.
We then decided to not go with flowers and then decided to do just flowers for the girls. Lu Ann came up with the best price tag for what I was looking for after searching through some florists in the SGV area.
Lu Ann was very prompt with her emails and very sensitive as to the look and design I was looking for. The price for a huge multi colored peonies, roses and hand cut hearts bridal bouquet (I had an Alice in Wonderland ceremony theme), french wrapped and long stemmed came out to be $ 98. My bridesmaids bouquets were $ 38pp…which was okay but I probably could’ve made them for much less. See pictures!
The day of. the flowers turned out really well! She did forget one little piece. but not a big deal.
Delivery is $ 30 extra… but to avoid you can have someone pick them up for you like we did. She does provide buckets of water for the flowers.
She definitely is one of the cheapest florists that I’ve found… initial quotes were around $ 3 for boutineers (we opted out), $ 45 for a simple dangling bridal bouquet, $ 15 for a simple bridesmaid bouquet. I decided to go «all out» since we saved so much on lots of other stuff at the wedding… =)
