Dr. Shitabata came highly recommended and has lived up to the hype as an amazing pediatric dentist. My kids have been patients since they were a year old and since the very beginning, Dr. Shitabata and the entire staff have been extremely professional and very knowledgeable. They make sure that my kids’ experiences are always positive. They are patient with the kids and efficient with the procedures. The office is inviting and comfortable and the kids look forward to their bi-annual appointments. They also make sure I’m comfortable as the parent, showing me all their findings and answering all my questions, never rushing me through my appointment.

Sadly this dentist has numerous restrictions on when you can schedule an appointment. With 3 kids, 2 of whom are school-going kids, I was told by her front desk that she doesn’t see new patients after 2pm, not on Fridays and no Saturdays! As a pediatric dentist, you oughta know that kids go to school.

Amazing dentist. Great with kids, including special needs populations. Organized office with great staff. Easy and accessible location. A good first dental experience for a child.

She is professional, but is not well versed in alternative therapy for children. She also does not safely sedate children in our opinion. Other dentists either use mild pill sedatives in office or if an IV for full sedation is needed they administer at a hospital. Running an IV in an office setting seems like an unnecessary risk. She’s also not a breastfeeding supportive dentist.

I’ve been bringing my 4 kids here since they were little. The almost-13 y/o has a sensitive gag reflex and they’ve always done their best with her so she’s comfortable with the dentist in spite of it. Professional doctor and the office staff is wonderful. Kids appreciate the movies and the pick of toys after their cleaning.

Top Notch, very professional. The office staff and assistants are amazing. My boys have been coming here since 1 years old. And they do not have a fear of the dentist thanks to them.

Very nice doctor and very patient with kids and most importantly infants. Her office is like a large playground with toys all over the place. I wish my dentist had an office like this. :(
