Rating: 50⁄100 pts You know how Torrance kinda shuts down after 9pm? It’s like someone yanked the power cable out of the entire city, leaving those in search of food to fend for themselves in a bleak, Robinson Crusoe meets Hunger Games type of situation. But then again, we do have Tacos Los Cunados 2. And just as 9pm begins to set in, this taco truck becomes a-hoppin’. The menu is simple: –Tacos for $ 1.25 –Burritos and Quesadillas for $ 5.00 –9 types of meat to choose from –Aquas Frescas, Horchata, and Mexican hot chocolate to wash it all down Food quality is as average as average gets: the meats are your standard, sub-par taco truck meats. The tacos are served on paper plates(though they can be made to-go ready), and there are wobbly tables to sit at. There’s a salsa bar with salsas that you most unappetizingly squirt out of dispensers. Nitpicking aside, I am glad that they are here. A 50 pt restaurant is about as high as you’ll get at night, and I’ve found myself dropping by now and again. Your only other options in town for a late night meal are Umenoya for ramen, or Taco Sinaloa, but when I just want something light and simple, I opt for Tacos Los Cunados, the sequel. *Most recently, they are parked at the corner of Normandie and 223rd st.

Food is exceptional for such a reasonable price. Hours are ideal for anyone looking to grab food later at night. Servers are helpful and quick, regardless of the amount of customers. Overall a place I would definitely visit again.

This place has mediocre Asada but everything else is disgusting I would never go here again. Been here five times and every time is barely eatable but not tonight when I went back to tell him the tripas were over cooked he gave me attitude. Save your money and go to Taco Bell.

Had the chicken tacos here. Probably the worst Mexican food I’ve ever had. Way too much salt. Also the gentleman taking orders was very rude when I asked for extra salsa.

Tried their tacos recently, had diarreah afterward. The sauce are not fresh. Saw a few flies around the sauce containers. Sanity is a concern. Will not come back again =(

Pretty good tacos. As far as the salsa bar if you get there later in the evening it’s not going to be as fresh as it seems they don’t freshen it up as the evening goes on. If you have a large order to go make sure you count your tacos. They’ve shorted me twice.

I dig this taco truck. The quesadillas are fantastic, and for five dollars they fill you up. Some quesadillas are a little thin/small, but they pack theirs with meat and use a large tortilla. The pastor quesadilla comes with some onions. The meat has amazing flavor. Just let it cool down for a bit cuz it comes out hot! The tacos are standard street style, just meat served on a corn tortilla. But the meats all have great flavor and are not dry. Really good salsa station, which makes it so good. They have an avocado sauce and a salsa verde, as well as other more spicy red sauces. I usually pile on fresh onions and cilantro, then squeeze some fresh lime. Excellent. I had the burrito recently and it was good, but a little too spicy for me. I like this place, and it is literally 2,000 feet from my house. It is parked inside of an auto mechanic/body shop type business, and there is ample parking. There is also a table and chairs available to sit at. Comfortable. I don’t want to say this is the best taco truck I have ever been to, but certainly very good. 4.5÷5 is my official rating.

Great local taco truck in my neighborhood. Tacos are $ 1.25 offered in all kinds of meats. I always get the al pastor and chorizo. They have a condiment station on the side of the truck that has cilantro and onions and different types of hot sauces. Truck also has burritos and quesadillas for $ 5. In the burritos, comes with your choice of meat, rice and beans. If you don’t want it spicy, be sure to tell them no hot sauce. Not sure of their hours, but I always see them there in the evening.

Very darn good! Carne al pastor burrito was delicious. I normally don’t ask for rice in my burrito because 99% of the time other places tend to pack more rice than meat, oh but not Los cunados! They stuffed and wrapped that burrito to perfection. I was there last night and I’ll be there again tonight :)

I tried it ’cause it looks like a rave/Las Vegas/LA art mural but I didn’t like the flavor of any of the meats. The tacos are good, nice truck and workers, but taste is king!

Tacos los cunados 2 are amazing. The taco truck comes during the evenings on the weekend. So you crave them the whole week until the weekend arrives then you can indulge. We can feed the whole family with $ 20 dollars and feel great afterwards. My favorite tacos in order are el pastor, chorizo, and asada. My wife loves the lengua tacos and says they are the best she ever had. The grilled onions and jalapeños are to die for, I eat a handful of them with every bite of a taco. The salsas and chopped onions and cilantro are perfect and the pickled onions and peppers are great and pack a habanero punch! There are always futbol matches on the three drop down flat screen TV’s which makes waiting for the food go by even faster. The service is great, the prices are awesome, and the tacos are epic! Highly recommended. God bless to all.
