It’s no secret that I live for massages, and while I really love Massage for Your Health down the street from my house, sometimes I just don’t want to walk down there and back. It’s not that I’m lazy(well, not entirely) but after a massage I usually just want to melt onto my couch and let the effects sink in. I’ve often wished I could just teleport from the massage table to my living room, but since that technology doesn’t exist yet, I’ve had to resign myself to the idea that this just wasn’t going to happen. You’re Worth It has done the next best thing to making teleportation a reality(actually, the better thing) and brought the massage to me! I’ve had mobile spa treatments before, but they were pricier because they were SPA treatments(chocolate scrub, mud wrap, scalp treatment). I love being pampered like that, but sometimes the wallet doesn’t agree, and sometimes I just need a good ol’ fashioned Swedish massage to work out the tension from a long week. And You’re Worth It’s prices are comparable to some of those chain massage places out there, with the perk that you didn’t have to drive there. But the great pricing is just a small part or what makes You’re Worth It great, so let me get to the good stuff. Adria arrived quite promptly at my apartment, armed with her massage table, soothing music, and some divine smelling massage lotion(lavender with a hint of geranium, which I two scents I absolutely adore). Incidentally, I prefer massage lotion to oil. so I was glad to see that’s what she uses. She was very pleasant and courteous, and quickly set up her table(which was soooo comfy). I told her I’d been having some pain in my left shoulder for a few weeks and that nothing I’d been doing was helping. I also mentioned my tightness in my mid-back. She then went to work, and I quickly realized her hands were magic! The pressure was perfect, she focused on my trouble areas without neglecting any other part, and by the time she was done an hour later, I was utterly relaxed and content. Not to mention my shoulder pain was gone. Gone I tell you! Yes, her hands are magic. It’s also no secret that I love supporting small businesses, so I feel really good about recommending You’re Worth It to others. Adria definitely knows how to run her business; all clients must sign consent forms and she brings her licenses in case anyone needs verification that she’s legit. Right now her travel range is a little limited(she’s a mom with a little one, so that makes sense), but I can tell you that if you’re in the South Bay Beach cities, you’d be silly to get a mobile massage from anyone else.
