We had a broken hot water heater and another company kept us waiting all weekend. I wish we had called Carlson first because they are so professional and were able to come and fix it quickly. I also used them for an a/c issue a couple months later. I’ll continue to patronize this company.

We purposely went through this company for furnace cleaning this year because we didn’t want to patronise the last place we had«hiccupy» service from. Seems the staff did a good job with the furnace cleaning itself. However, the staff member left a small mess in his wake when he left as we noted after his departure. My husband had to clean up the carpeting around the area where the furnace closet is located as there were oil spots he tracked around during his visit. Didn’t realise till after the fact that he didn’t wear booties over his own shoes or boots, nor did he put down a drop cloth to protect carpeting in that area. True, many cellars have ho-hum carpeting the residents may not care so much about maintaining the appearance of, but it’s NEVER a good idea to assume that’s the case in every instance. This was tiled carpeting with a pattern that my husband had to scrub some in order to attempt to get the stains out of it. Waste of time; hoping the spots will vacuum up with the vacuum when they’re dry enough to deal with post-spraying. Going forward, either put down a drop cloth to avoid problems of this type in the future, OR consult with the homeowner before doing anything. Not acceptable. I might also add that there was, and not sure whose fault it was, some misunderstanding about whether the staff member would be at our house between 10 and 12 or 12 and 2. Husband had to call over to the company when it was almost noon to find out what the story was. Again, not acceptable as we are NOT baby sitters. ‘Nuff said.
