Yeah they started cleaning up at 8:45 when they’re supposed to close at 10? There weren’t any shrimp in the Cocoanut Shrimp Dish. The food was cold overall, but at least the rice was good! But we are taking our business else where. Last 2 times I’ve gone there, there was this horrible odor in the carpet!!!

Horrible experience. The guy told us they were open till ten so we went at 830. At 845 they started packing all the food up so we paid and then couldn’t even eat what we wanted. Opened a piece of crab and it was gray on the inside. Wife got food poisoning and the guy said«no ur fat u ate too much. U ate like 20 f***ing plates.» Yes he swore at us. Didn’t even eat that much since they put half the food away over an hour before closing. The food we did eat was pretty nasty. Then they yelled at her for throwing up in the bathroom and tried to make her clean it. Never again.

Chinese buffets are never as good as a Chinese restaurant. This one is really bad though. The good thing is that the price was very cheap for an all you can eat buffet. The food was bland, not hot, not fresh, not good.

I LOVED Lotus Blossom. They were dirt cheap but still pretty good for what it was. Now that they closed and changed ownership: I R DISAPPOINT, RAWR. They have pretty much the same food as before, but its so bland now. I would have expected this from Lotus Blossom, as dinner was $ 6. This iteration is more expensive, yet the food is crappier. What wasn’t bland ended up being salty as hell. Chinese buffets get graded on a curve, and this is still pretty friggin bad. I will give them credit where credit is due though: instead of random«let’s wrap anything up in rice and seaweed and call it sushi» sushi like Lotus Blossom had(I saw pickles and chicken fingers once) — they do have some identifiable rolls. Nothing too fancy though, nor was it all that impressive The hibachi table is a good idea BUT is it really a bright idea to have raw meat out on a buffet table? IDGAF if it’s chilled or not, keep that stuff behind the counter and in a fridge. I understand they want people to see what they have and encourage them to use it — however, just list the choices for hibachi, don’t have it out for everyone to ogle. Until that changes, you won’t catch me getting hibachi here. I think I’ll stay up on the hill and go to the Super Buffet by Walmart when the Chinese buffet pangs hit. At least I know that place is good. I’m not one to get all Unilocal snobby, but it takes a lot for me to give a low rating. This place blows.

For the record, I’m whitey and the wife is Taiwanese. I found there to be a wide variety of options here… so much so that we never made it to the Mongolian BBQ section. Not much knocked my socks off but surprisingly I had a very hard time finding anything that was bad or horrible. All food was very edible. My faves included: various styles of fried chicken pieces; baked breaded in shells shrimp and mussels; mini-steak sandwich(similar to a Northern Chinese«beef roll») with sauteed onions and thinly sliced or shredded tasty beef inside; the sushi options are limited and just okay; lo mein noodles are pretty good; prime rib with au jus good; nice dumplings w/sauce on side; fried sweet potato balls. The price is very fair for lunch and I’m sure we’ll be back when we visit dad again.
