Ordered the Fried Mozzarella it was burned and had maybe 1⁄32 of an inch of cheese. We stopped there and got our check and left stay away from this place not sure how it stayed in business this long. A side note the cheese in the shaker no clue what it was but it wasn’t cheese.

Great food! Good service. The place was very nice got seated right away. Enjoyed the atmosphere, it’s pretty cheap for such good food! Even the iced tea tasted like it was freshly brewed.

Blinding bright lights, okay food, cafeteria environment. It’s a «Pay at the counter on the at way out» kind of place. Prices are high for what you get. Wasn’t happy there.

Still some of the worst pizza in ct. Amazed how people keep coming back for it. Service is constantly forgetting things.

I want to like this place so badly. First, let me start off with the food: love it! The downfall of this place is the service. The waitresses are generally nice, but not the least bit attentive. We literally sat there for 25 minutes without any sort of acknowledgement and empty drinks. My suggestion would be to stick to take-out.

I’m honestly shocked at some of the negative reviews here on Unilocal… I have been going to Pizza Palace with family and friends even since they were at their previous location. I have never had an issue with the food or service, not once. If you like a thick crust with a good amount of fresh sauce, this is the place to go for pizza. If you’re looking for a thin crust, there are plenty of others pizza places to choose from in town. Their Italian dinners are great for the price, they also have a nice drink selection, and the staff is always friendly.

Meh. I’m VERY picky when it comes to my pizza given I don’t eat it a whole lot. So you really need to wow me to make me come back. I only had one piece of a friends«personal» pizza, and it was alright. Nothing to write home to my mom about. I opted for a chicken sandwich and the portions were huge. It took a lot out of me to finish it. The waitstaff was a 3⁄10. She took forever to give us our drinks and was gone for most of our meal only to return to give us our check. We also tried coming here one night when they were still open for about a half hour and they basically shooed us out of the door. I get it, you want to go home but you don’t need to be rude about it. I guess it would be good if you were in a bind and dying of starvation, but I wouldn’t make a special place to come here.

I don’t know how anyone from the area could think this place was even slightly worth going to. The pizza was the worst I’ve ever had, completely disgusting. We certainly won’t be back… there are plenty of other options, even literally on that road. With much, much better pizza. This place belongs in another part of the country, where there aren’t a million better pizza places surrounding it. Stupid.

We’ve been here a few times before and always enjoyed our meal and the way we were treated. We dropped in tonight, and the restaurant was very crowded. Lots of families, lots of kids, lots of couples. Its a nice low key unpretentious place without duck fat fries or charcuterie platters. Lots of pizza and burgers and sandwiches and pasta for rock bottom prices. We had a coke, a chicken parm grinder, a «small»(in reality quite large salad), and a side order of meatballs for 21 buckaroos. Service had been great in the past. Last year we remember chatting with a real nice server after the Halloween storm about how she brought her kids to work(no power at home) and had them making pizza boxes. She was a real gem. Tonight we had a real zirconium chip instead of that gem — terrible service– we waited forever for our food, waited forever for our check, never checked up on us, didn’t say one word of pleasant banter to us all night.

The atmosphere was nice and laid back. I did not order pizza, but rather a tuna sandwich. MY husband’s meal came with a salad, which was more like a plate of grated cheese with a side of lettuce. My sandwich was good, but pretty generic. The prices for our food were reasonable. The service for my husband’s food was good, however they made the wrong sandwich for me so I had to wait longer.

Pizza Palace makes me lose faith in humanity. This travesty of an «italian» place is always fuller than the quality of the food would suggest. Maybe its just me or maybe everybody else is ok with eating garlic flavored cardboard. The pizza here is worse than the $ 5.99 cheapo garbage pizza you can get at Stop and Shop and the rest of the menu items are just as bad. Be prepared for frozen pre-shaped veal and chicken patties, soggy and stale vegetables in salads and even the soda taste odd. Considering the prices are very high I wonder why they even stay in business. Yes, the interior is nice, but you all know the saying. «Can’t put lipstick on a pig».

I agree that the pizza here is dreadful. If you like Pizza Hut better than Pepe’s(and some people do), then you might like this place. If you’re a foodie, stay away.

My Favorite thick-crust pizza. Very good stuff. The new renovations really make the place look great. They have other stuff there that is all hit or miss. The burgers are okay, a little dry. The grinders are good. The calzones are amazing and so are the meatballs. Hint: ask for the bread and sauce when waiting for your food! It tends to be a little pricey, but the pizza is definitely worth it if you keep it to a once-in-a-while occasion.

Not bad. Probably best if you like a somewhat«sweet» pizza. And large bills.

Not as bad the the last review of «dreadful». Pizza is a thicker than usual crust. They have good grinders and the prices are fairly cheap. I would recommend dining after 7:30 as it tends to have families(screaming kids at times)

Dreadful. Terrible pizza and a wonderful view of the car dealerships across the street.
