Always the best Italian foods, Always the best in customer service, Always a pleasure to go and eat here or order out As for the other reviews, the pizza is thick with toppings because that’s i believe one of the styles in Italy I never once had anything bad to say about this wonderful establishment!

Looking forward to a pizza and an order of wings! I called and was put on hold. I gave the girl 5 minutes hung up and called back and was put on hold for another 10 minutes. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and just drove there to put my order in and wasn’t even given the benefit of a look for 10 minutes inside. I went to another pizza place with the same quality and better service. horrible!!!

Pizza is good but don’t waste time with the grinders. Ordered 2 Italian subs to go, they had 2 pieces of cheese and 2 pieces of meat each. What a rip off. Never again.

They make good pizza but if you are on a diet they have good turkey grinders with real non-processed turkey and grilled chicken subs and salads. Delivery is quick-they have never gotten lost. –1 star because Hometown makes bigger pizzas for less(but you have to drive)

Ordered a pizza and a grinder 2 hrs ago and still has not been delivered. Tried to cancel it and worst customer service. The person who answered the phone hung up on us. Will never order again from there.

I have only ever ordered delivery from Vinny’s: delivery(which is free) is usually quick, drivers are friendly, prices are excellent. Great thinner-crust pizza, something different in Torrington, which is dominated by Greek-style pizza. The Works is a little like hog heaven, with everything but the kitchen sink, but I love it. Meatball is good, too. Kids love the cheese. Never been disappointed.

Pizza sucked, appetizers sucked. Typical ttown pizza joint. Crap on dough. Just frozen crap haphazardly thrown into a box or take out container. its like throwing $ 40 away everytime. Save your money.

Our favorite place for pizza. The meatball is a good classic that never fails to satisfy. They are consistent and have good quality food for a reasonable price. The sauce is nice, with a good moderate thickness but very crispy crust. Always a good go-to for us.

This place is like a hidden gem. I had never been inside before until I went there for lunch on a whim. From the outside, it looks like a typical pizza place, maybe a little greasy and rundown. But going into the dining room was a drastic change. It looks like a cute little Italian place with stereotypical paintings, sponge-painted walls, and really nice table and chairs. Ascetically, all it needs is a new rug. The menu is really big, which makes me concerned about how much of the food is frozen. But who goes to a local pizza place for anything other than pizza?(Okay, maybe I only go for pizza) We had their gourmet four cheese pizza and a spinach, garlic and sausage pizza. Overall, both were very good and came out fresh from the oven. The sauce is a little blah, but the dough is cooked nice and crunchy, and it’s not overwhelming. They do not skimp on toppings, which was really nice to see! The service is great, our waitress was really friendly and greeted everyone who came in with a smile on her face. I really wish I could give them another half star — why do you deny me Unilocal?!

Another disappointing restaurant in Torrington. Pizza toppings falling everywhere when you pick a piece up. Canned vinegar tasting mushrooms thrown in a huge pile on top.SAD. Calamari with fried cherry peppers? Frozen crap rubber bands with soggy ass peppers. Cant believe we wasted $ 35 on this crap. Thought we’d order out and enjoy a nice meal. Farthest from the truth! Glad I didn’t order their expensive seafood dishes. Wouldve just pissed us off more and been even MORE of a letdown. Dont waste your money. Girl who took the order had a stick up her ass too. Dont like customer service, get a factory job. Its my own fault, I should’ve hung up after her attitude.

Last night a big event was occurring in the downtown Torrington which attracted many of it’s residents to join up in front of the Warner Theater. I arrived in town with my girlfriend sometime just after 5pm and we were hungry from the long trip from Boston. Earlier in the week a friend suggested a few restaurants in the area and I had made a mental note to try out one of the suggestions. After parking by the library we began walking to see what Torrington has to offer… nothing. Most of the downtown area is either shut down, run down or on it’s way out. There are only 4 – 5 actual restaurants in town, not counting the 99 Ninety-Nine. EVERY restaurant we walked into was booked up and had a wait between 20 – 45 minutes?! My question all night was: For what?! After trying Bogey’s, Bachi’s and even the 99 we found Vinny’s Walking into the dining room we found a few empty seats but was nervous we’d be greeted with, «Sorry, they are reserved.» Nope, open! Angels began singing and we were kindly seated and given menus. It was 6pm when we sat down and had plenty of time to relax before a show at 8pm. As waitresses walked by with food it smelt oddly familiar. I found everything here to be really good, tasty and affordable. It does seem like this is a popular location for residents as everyone seemed to know diners at other tables. I can’t say anything bad about Vinny’s but part of me wished I tried the pizza instead of the Cold Antipasto. My girlfriend had the Cheese Ravioli’s which she seemed to enjoy. All meals had a great sided portion and some came with a choice of soup or salad. The dining area probably could seat just a little over 50. Waitresses were very nice and friendly. They made me feel comfortable and took their time with everything which I thoroughly enjoyed. Overall it was a good meal, excellent price and very nice atmosphere. At time we could hear the TV in the apartment above us but it didn’t really kill the mood. It wasn’t until later it hit me why the food smelt/tasted so familiar. Vinny’s food tastes exactly like Carbone’s in Hopkinton, MA! Weird huh?!

A great place to sit-down and enjoy pizza with friends. It’s never really crowded either. This pizza is thin-sliced and pretty good. The other menu items are too expensive for my taste, but it’s all standard italian restaurant menu stuff. You can order pizza by the slice, but depending on who is serving you will dictate what toppings you are allowed.
