if i could give 0 stars, I probably would. this was my first time going to a pawn shop, so I wasn’t sure what to expect. after reading about this place giving more then fair prices for things I decided to stop by on my way to work. I was looking to get rid of some designers bags, 2 watches, and a digital camera. I usually would donate somewhere, but I was looking to explore options for getting cash for these items. his employee was friendly with me, but the owner, Bernie? WOW. talk about rude. he practically insinuated that my items were garbage and no one wanted them. he told me no one would take my camera because iphones are better. well sir, not everyone has an iphone. the woman who looked at my bags told me she’d give me $ 20 for one, and before even looking at the others Bernie said no, they aren’t worth it. he told me personally that I was striking out today. cool. after looking for my watches online, because he couldnt find one listed on ebay(which is what i assime they use to gage the pricing) he handed them back to me and said they were too cheap. after being thoroughly embarrassed, I said thank you and walked out. worst experience ever and I will NEVER be back. how awful of you to embarrass a customer that way. get a personality, and stop being miserable and rude to your cust0mers.

I’ve never been to a pawn shop before, and after my experience at this pawn shop, I will NEVER set foot in one ever again. The two employees, one who didn’t ID himself and the owner(pictured above), were the most stereotypical skeevy salesmen possible. They offered me a total of $ 10 for valuable and authentic Yankees memorabilia when I had told them upfront that I had more in my car waiting for them to check out. Chalk it up to a basic misunderstanding of economic principals or sheer incompetency(or both…), and you have yourself Pawndingo! Enjoy at your own risk. PS — I left the store with both owners telling me to «Get the F**k out.» Charming.
