Close your eyes and have a perfect expresso or cuppuccino just like in Italy. No one does the art better.

Still the best place in New Jersey to get an espresso! Or espressino, or cappuccino, or any other combination Giuseppe or Ralph serve up… Closed Mondays when you need them most;(

The best espresso you’ll find. It’s an old world import co. — You walk in and it smells of wonderful coffee. Old men are gathered around the coffee bar speaking Italian. It is like stepping into the old world. It’s quaint and fun all at once. But then, you have an espresso(or cappuccino whatever you prefer) and it goes from visit to the old world coffee shop to in your face best espresso ever. It is simply magnificent. The crèma is 1⁄8 to a ¼ thick creamy luscious head. There is an essence of smoky chocolate and a hint of some far off spice. Great care is taken to make sure the water is purified, the cups are warmed, and the coffee beans are imported from the owners’ home town back in Italy. All this just makes the flavor experience of the espresso to die for. If you’re a coffee aficionado, you should make haste to San Remo and enjoy a cup!

Best cappuccino outside of Italy!!! I just got back from Rome on Sept 26th and I’ve been spoiled for life! Being that cappuccino is my all time fave drink, I’d been looking for an authentic Italian place where the cappuccino tastes just like the ones I had in Rome. Well I happened on this place when I was out getting lunch today. Oh the gods truly do answer your prayers! The cappuccino was foamy and frothy and perfectly made just like I had in Italy! I’m in love and will be going back regularly for my cappuccino fix! Ladies, you might find middle-aged Italian men hanging around inside the shop enjoying their espresso drinks but they’re courteous, mean no harm and should not deter you from finally getting the authentic Italian coffee drink. I actually liked that because the men were conversing in Italian and made me feel like I was back in Rome. There is no place to sit but I didn’t care, I just hung around checking out the Italian imported goods in the store whilst enjoying my perfectly made cappuccino. The owner, Ralph, was very sweet and suggested a few authentic Italian restaurants and gelato places in Northern, NJ. I’ll be checking them out and reporting back soon!
