WEAREOBSESSEDWITHTHISPLACE! I highly recommend it to anyone looking for awesome sushi! We love the spicy fu Platter for two. I can go alone and I would still order it for myself! YES I IM A SUSHILOVER! If i can give it 10 stars I would! Don’t feel weird like I did the first time I went for dinner I noticed the place was empty until I saw they get a lot of pick ups and they do a lot of deliveries.

I feel I can only give 4 stars because I haven’t yet been to the restaurant itself, BUT if this were take-out-only, I’d easily give it 5. I found Sushi Fu on GrubHub and was SO impressed. The food was delivered promptly and was SO fresh. A group of us ordered a bunch of rolls and raw fish appetizers — each item was better than the next. I’m very picky when it comes to sushi, so trust me when I say this place is definitely one to try if you’re a fellow raw fish lover. I can’t wait to try the restaurant itself!

Awesome food great service. Number 1 on my list I have yet to not enjoy something from this restaurant. I eat in Manhattan a lot and I would take Sushi Fu over NYC restaurants anytime. I have currently ordered from this restaurant at least 2 times per week since I found it. Everyone who works there is truly welcoming and sweet

Okay, I have to start off saying my favorite sushi /Asian cuisine spot ever was in Morristown. I recently moved back to Passaic county, and while hungry and shopping, came across this restaurant via Unilocal.THANKYOU Unilocal! I stopped in just as they were opening, took a seat and pretty much knew what I wanted to try out. I had Gyoza Pan — delicious. Not overly fried, it was light, crisp, delicious. I followed up with the volcano roll. It was perfectly presented, the right amount of crunch and spice, and the fish tasted like the freshest I’ve had in years. It was phenomenal! Finally, I tried Crispy Sesame Beef, as I had seen it in a review. It came out quickly, hot and perfectly crisp. A nice spice, and had fresh rice and broccoli. I can’t complain. Service was fast, quality was great, will definitely come back and DEFINITELY recommending it to many!

A bit on the pricy side But absolutely delicious Plus the manager showed table next to me one of the best examples that I’m sure keep people coming back here they thought they ordered spring rolls but did not and he later brought them out on the house That is how you take care of people and why they choose your restaurant

This is hands down my favorite sushi spot. It’s kind of hidden behind busy shopping areas/restaurants, but it is a GEM. The food here is incredible. I’ve been coming here since they opened a few years back and it never disappoints. From the rolls, to their dumplings, to their bento boxes, everything is delicious. And always reasonably priced. What really sets this place aside from others is their costumer service. The people that work here are the nicest I’ve encountered at a restaurant. Always very attentive and polite; it is a pleasure to eat there. I’ve been there so many times bringing new friends and family that most of them know me by now. They like to show their appreciation by giving me 10% on my meal without me saying anything. Truly nice people. It’s BYOB, so don’t forget your bottle of wine. Oh, try their wok shrimp fried rice. It’s life changing. You’ll never settle for street corner Chinese food ever again.

Decent little sushi place in an area of NJ where selection for lunch is pretty slim. Tried them a couple times for lunch only, and both times the food was fresh and tasty. The lunch special is a great deal, comes with soup and salad. I love the fact that they don’t load up on the rice in the rolls. I am not in the area for dinner so I cannot speak for it. Definately worth a try!

I have been here begore and the food has been good. However the service on the other hand not so great. Placed two separate orders over the phone. At pick paid and was handed only one bag. I asked twice if both orders were in the bag, lady confirmed. Went back to work and much to my surprise the second order was not there. I asked them to delivery it and they did, however my sushi is warm and I’m not happy at all.

Sushi, Sushi Fu… Where are you???(I need to start a cover band, but I digress). This place is the Wiz’s Jizz. Okay, ummmmm… that phrasing is bad. But the food here is AMAZING. Found them on GrubHub, which is an absolute go-to for me when finding new food places. Great maki rolls. I’m always a fan of maki rolls, versus the hand rolls. Sushi Fu executes both really well, with some really fresh ingredients, and BALANCED flavors. The fish is not overly fishy by a long stretch, just acidic enough to balance w/the other flavors of the rice, cucumber, sauces, etc. I’m a fan of their pork buns, or what they’d call«Char Siu Bao». Picture having really succulent ground beef flavored w/amazing spices, doused in a delicately-sweet Asian BBQ sauce, in the center of a… STEAMED Brioche Bun??? Yup! This traditional Cantonese dish is so amazingly prepared and executed. It’s a must whenever I order their food! Sweet meat, engulfed in sweet buns! It’s LIT. May I add one thing??? I’ve never actually been there. I’ve only had delivery. The food is so delicious, though. I’m a regular when it comes to this spot. They’re punctual with deliveries, which always warrants great cash tips! And oh yeah… Try the fried ice cream. OMG. Once your apps and entrees are done? The soft slowly-melting ice cream and the battered coating go together in perfect harmony. Do it. And thank me later. #DrakeFlow

Came to Sushi Fu after visiting the Yogi Berra Museum(see separate review). We wanted to try a new source for sushi and based on Unilocal reviews, we landed here. They offer a choice of Japanese, Chinese and Thai which is more than enough to find something you like. We focused solely on the Japanese as follows: Appetizers: Yasai Gyoza Tako Su-octopus was chewy, not slice thin enough, would not order again Yellow Tail Carpaccio-yuzu citrus sauce Rolls: Pyramid of Egypt Shrimp Mango Sweet Potato Roll all excellent Dessert: Fried Ice Cream– surprisingly good Sushif Fu was not busy at all for a Saturday night, but we enjoyed fresh food and pleasant service. Love the byob factor and will definately add it to the«repeat» list.

Can’t really give it 5 stars but it is pretty good place to have dinner. The fish is fresh and there is a great ratio in the rolls of fish to rice but some rolls could use little or no crunch. Other than that I think this is a worthwhile place to visit and have dinner with friends. Just don’t forget to BYOB…

This place is delicious. I have to come back for a dine in experience. Ordered here for lunch one day. I did the grub hub delivery but it said an hour so it was faster if I just picked it up. I ordered two three rolls lunch specials. My personal order consisted of spicy salmon, philly roll, and shrimp tempura. Oh man they were all so good. I don’t normally eat three rolls but I made space for these ones! The miso soup that it comes with is flavorful and not overpowering either. The salad was a good portion. I used the extra salad dressing and drizzled it on top of the spicy salmon roll. It was super good. Sushi tastes fresh and it’s a affordable price to come back frequently! New sushi spot for lunch on weekdays. Yay !!!

This has been our 3rd time ordering. While some of the dishes are good, the other parts not so much. We ordered all 3 times within a month period. They manage to mess up on the orders every time. Kani salad was over priced, small and no caviar in sight. Husband had the teriyaki chicken and for $ 14.?! Tasted of overly black peppered nothing. Sushi is nothing special. I do have to say though, their stir fried udon was amazing but by mistake they gave me that instead of the soup version. Their Thai seems pretty good. I can’t say I’m completely disappointed but I would not have them saved as my go to Asian takeout.

Was shopping in the area and stumbled up on this gem. This place serves sushi, chinese and thai food. We ordered two bento boxes(seafood tempura and beef pad thai) along with a spicy tuna roll. Everything was delicious and it was such a good value. The waiter forgot to put in my lunch order and he came over to apologize for the delay and took 10% off our meal without me even saying anything. My food didn’t even come that much later than my fiances. Modern décor. Delicious food. Lots of variety. Great customer service. Would definitely come back again if I am in the area.

Funny name for a restaurant. The kid needed to refuel between soccer games and sushi is perfect. So, this is the highest rated sushi place in the area. She fancied the Sweetheart roll which was kind of cute, pink seaweed wrapper with tuna, salmon and a sweet miso-honey sauce. I wasn’t very hungry so I just had a tempura appetizer and 3 pieces of sushi, eel, white tuna and yellowtail. Service was friendly and efficient, sushi was fresh and the décor and ambiance was good.

I came here the day of the grand opening. Aside from the menu, not much of the restaurant itself has changed from the previous restaurant. For a grand opening the place was pretty dead when we arrived. However, not too long after we started eating a few more groups of people started to come in. I also noticed that there were speakers for background music, but no background music which made it feel like there was a lack of privacy since everyone could hear our entire conversation. I Got the Bento Box B, which came with steak teriyaki. The steak teriyaki was very good and was cooked perfect, and when I mean perfect, I mean medium. The Shrimp and vegetable tempura were delicious and were also cooked perfectly. The sushi inside the bento box also tasted great. Being that it was the first night I’m sure they had a few kinks to work out and maybe the sound system wasn’t working right. Since everything tasted great I’m going to have to come back for a second try.
