Everything I’ve had to eat here is good… Not great. They have friendly staff and good service but everything(especially the bar) is overpriced. When I found out that I was charged $ 7 for a local IPA I felt like the owners had reached into my pocket and stolen my money. You can get better food and prices from most of the other local restaurants and pubs.

Omg… we gave this pub a 2nd visit — we had just had a big snow storm and needed to escape the house. We had the BESTCHEESEBURGERS ever! They also handcut their french fries. The ingredients were all super fresh and plenty of them. They serve it with a side of spicy, chunky pickles(probably homemade). I couldn’t quite make out the pickle flavors, but they were delish! Seriously one of the best burgers I’ve had in ages. My husb loved his cream of mushroom soup, too. Really, really good. Definitely will go back. Ask for Sherri –she’s fantastic!

It may not be the most convenient location, or classiest atmosphere with a young bar scene, but don’t let that sway you. Come for Chef Ray’s food. Five of us dined tonight and everything on the table was excellent. Starters included a nice sized cheese board, a corn soup(special that looked delicious, should’ e asked for a taste), classically done onion soup, Ray’s luscious mushroom soup and crispy fried oyster mushrooms with a sriracha dipping sauce. Entrees that were all enjoyed immensely were the crab cakes, crab ravioli, ahi tuna special, and my Amish chicken — lightly smoked with a honey glaze and just perfect. We’ll be back.

This is classic«Everyone knows your name» place with excellent food. The crab cakes, Thai chili wings, BBQ Brisket sandwich and crab ravioli are all great dishes. I’m glad this place is local to me. Been here about 8 times before posted this review. You deserve to come to this comfortable spot. Relax ad enjoy.

Only went once but I have zero desire to go again. The night I went they had live music, which is cool; but it was a country cover band, so actually it wasn’t at all. After they left there was a DJ that had three people on average dancing. Pretty impressive considering what a horrible job he was doing. Beer was uninspired; bud light, bud, miller light, miller, lather rinse and repeat. The atmosphere was, in a word, Pennsatucky. I was the youngest person there by far, and I’m only 24. Crowd was mostly forty something’s, which is great if you’re 40-something or older but pretty lame if you’re not. Not going back.

Two strikes and you are out… We(5 of us) tried it after it first opened. They said they were a gastropub and had an interesting menu. We tried a few things and felt that it was just OK. Muscles were bland, kids meals were fine but nothing exciting, and my dish had an overly salted gravy drowning everything on the plate. Gave it a month and tried it again. They told us they had changed the whole menu. It is now just basic americana grub. They have some nice specials during the week, prime rib nite, lobster nite but we missed those. No kids menu but they have some items they can make if you ask. Staff is all«mature» and most that were there the first time have left(small town, you know everyone). Bar seems to be doing well. Seems to attract that middle aged hang out at the bar crowd. Especially those that like to be able to go out the front door and smoke. This place just has too many things going against it. Parking is bad, poor ambiance, not the best location, food was just OK. This area is begging for a family friendly good restaraunt and no one seems to get the hint. We will stick with Hartfield, Sake Hana, or even Applebees over this place.

First time returning here since it was the Brown Derby. Our food was outstanding! We had Prime Rib and the Lobster, both were cooked to perfection. Lobster Mac-n-cheese appetizer was to die for! Apple dumpling for desert was an excellent finish. Service was fantastic. We will be back!
