Ok, I’m in Towanda and there aren’t a lot of choices for a sit down dinner. Pizza and fast food seems the norm. Going across the bridge on rt. 6 I see a sign from the food gods«Riverstone inn». At the time it isn’t listed as a restaurant only a hotel. Best food so far here. Very clean, lobby area and restaurant and bar area. Bartenders were superb, service was excellent. Being a road dog and realistic, this is the place is this small town.

Had dinner with friends and it was good. I had the french onion soup which needed to be cooked longer — hard onions, but lots of cheese. I also had the Buffalo Chicken Salad which was good — no complaints. The others at my table had a burger w/fries and chicken parm, which they both liked. Overall it was a good experience. The only thing was the food was delivered too fast. I don’t like it when my soup, appetizer, and dinner are on the table at the same time. In fairness it was the end of the evening so maybe the cook wanted to go home. Overall, it is worth stopping by. The waitress was extremely nice and it is convenient if you are in the area, right on Route 6 at the bridge. The menu has alot to offer and the place is cozy. Also, it’s been open for along time, which means they must be doing something right.

Not a bad place to eat. Was here with a coworker visiting from the Philly and Harrisburg areas. A little pricey but not too bad. The wings were pretty good and the burger I had was mediocre at best. The roll defiantly made the burger. We sat at the bar and service was fast and pleasant. Just as we finished the wings our burgers were right there. Spent about $ 40 for 4−22oz tap beers, dozen wings and the 2 burgers. Also would like to metion the place looked very nice and clean.

The RiverStone is lucky it’s the only place of its nature in a 20 mile radius. The food is mediocre and quite honestly over priced for its quality. There are a few items that are worth going for, but I wouldn’t waste my time if there was a decent restaurant anywhere else in Wysox that served more than pizza and pasta.

Hit or miss. This place was great when it was the Williamston. Since the changes, the renovations look great, but the everything else has taken a dive. Theres no consistency. One time we’ll get great service and great food. Or bad service and bad food. Or any mix of the above. Their steaks are excellent on a good day. Inedible on a bad. Many choices for dinner. Lunch is mediocre. Full bar in a decent atmosphere, definitely a plus. Servers have a tendency to be rude. Very rude. Can take upwards of an hour to get your meal too, then you get it and you can instantly tell that it was sitting under the heat lamps for 45 minutes. I kept going back because the good meals outweighed the bad, but it has just been bad the last few times, so I haven’t been back.

Nice little bar/restaurant with OK food and good cold beer. Not many other choices in the area, so it’ll do for our next visit as well.

Nothing fancy but a cozy place with great service and varied menu. Have eaten here several times in the past and is very consistent. Portions are not too small nor too large and food is served cooked as desired and hot. Desserts are quite tempting. Will continue to come back.
