Doublehead Resort & Lodge

Absolutely what we were looking for! All cabins are beautifully done and overlook Wilson Lake. We enjoyed sitting out on the deck in the rocking chairs, bird watching, and snoozing in the hammock. My husband kept a beautiful fire going in the wood-​burning fireplace. There is a man that delivers wood right to your door! The kitchen had all stainless steal appliances and I lacked for nothing while making dinner. Great nature trail and we really enjoyed renting a golf cart to tour the grounds. Nice flat screen tv, satellite cable, wi-​fi (but you do have to pay for the wi-​fi — just as well — there are too many things to do that are more fun!) We loved our stay and can’t wait to come back.
