Nice place to stop on I-95. Great ribs and loved BBQ sauce. Will definitely be back, next time we are traveling down south!

Try as you may, you just can’t find ribs like this up north. Small menu, dirt cheap, done exactly right. Served out of a gas station. This is the real deal, and right of I-95.

So you pull off the highway and find this place in the Chevron. Your first thought is to run. But don’t. Instead, enjoy an awesome pulled pork sandwich and beans on the picnic table. Seriously good.

We got off to go to Peach World(which wasn’t worth it), saw this on Unilocal and figured we’d grab a quick snack. Not bad Que but also not great — TGI Fridays has better. Pork and ribs were pulled out from the fridge and put in a rolling pizza oven to be reheated. For what it was, it was on the expensive side at, I believe, $ 7 a sandwich. A bit of an adventurous«Tourist Trap.» Not trying to be rude, but my son and I were the only ones who’d eat the food — everyone else was a bit skeeved out. We didn’t get sick, but I’d keep driving next time.

I stopped in for fuel and could smell the aroma of fresh BBQ being made. Gas station/BBQ/sit down in or outside/easy on and off the interstate. Facilities are clean, amazing Brunswick stew! Be sure to order your sandwich extra sloppy. The sauce is to die for.

Nothing fancy but really good Q. Had the pulled pork on toasted bun with the mustard bbq sauce and it was really good. The girl was really friendly the guy was the strong quite type but we were stopping for some quick bbq and were not disappointed. I think I’m beginning to like the idea of just a few dull sides because it encourages me to eat better and less… That would work better if every place didn’t sell those pecan pies and log rolls:(

Nice place to stop for homemade BBQ along I-95! The pork sandwich had the right amount of sauce, baked beans were great, and the Brunswick stew was delicious. Next time I’m road tripping through Georgia, Polly’s will be on my list.

Wow! Pretty amazing that you can find a rib sandwich this good at a gas station on I-95S in Georgia. Had no idea there was anything but a Chevron station at the exit. Saw and smelled the smoker when we pulled in, and just knew I had to try the ribs. Meaty and fall off the bone tender. This will be a regular stop for me now, on trips back and forth from SC to FL. Looking forward to trying the Brunswick stew next trip. Bob K

The pulled pork was delicious. Lean, smokey, and flavorful. Great homemade potato salad, too. The only surprise was the location – inside a gas station! The picnic table outside worked fine on this warm summer night, but if it was raining, it would have not worked to «dine in».

Stopped by chance and was pleasantly surprised at the Barbacue at Pollys. Brunswick stew was wonderful too. We loved the mustard sauce.

So we’re driving down 95 towards Florida from DC and we both get hungry and we start looking at places on Unilocal and we stumble upon this place when we got there we almost left because The place is in a gas station and we couldn’t even find where to order but we decided to order one pulled pork sandwich combo that brings potato salad and sweet tea for like $ 6.99…seriously? Yep that’s the price and it was actually delicious we ended up ordering another one so don’t get fooled by the looks it’s actually very good and the owner is very nice. Give it a try what the heck

We searched Unilocal as we were heading south and wanted some bbq. After making several passes I consulted the reviews to figure out just where this place was. The gps was right on taking us to s gas station. It is not marked outside so it’s a bit tricky. We are so glad we found it. The bbq was very good. We did not purchase any sides. It is s sweet mustard based and well balanced flavors. I would record it of you traveling 95 through GA

Stopped here on our way to North Carolina and the pulled pork was amazing. Don’t let the fact the food is served out of a gas station scare you, the food was phenomenal. We also had the baked beans and potato salad which were also great. If you are hungry, stop here. If you are hungry and need gas, stop here.

Without the reviews, I couldn’t imagine I would’ve chosen this place to eat. I’m so glad we did! The flavors were outstanding! We had the pulled pork and the Brunswick’s Stew. The pulled pork was tender and the stew was hearty and flavorful! We are happy we stopped at Polly’s BBQ!

This BBQ pit stop is found tucked away inside of the Chevron gas station just off exit 58. You can see the smoke rising from the smoker on one side of the parking lot. We had the jumbo bbq sandwich, any side(baked beans for me) with tea combo. Let me be the first to tell you that I have never been so happy to bypass the typical fast food burger joints! The service was good and fast — considering that the phone was ringing off the hook literally with orders. Seriously, during the 30 min or so that we were there the guy never hung up the phone! He just kept taking orders and clicking over to take the waiting callers. I will say that it was worth the wait… the meat was tender with just the right amount of BBQ sauce. It is a sweet-tangy-mustardy bbq sauce, most likely homemade. The baked beans were phenomenal and the tea was perfectly sweetened. This place pays homage to «the best food is often found in the hole-in-the-wall». As an added bonus they sale a variety of Amish made jams, salsas, salad dressings, etc. I look forward to trying them! 1÷21÷14: Opened the homestyle FROG(fig, raspberry, orange, ginger) jam… I’m upset that I only bought one. 2⁄2014: Opened the Strawberry Jam… what was I thinking to only purchase one!!! 3÷30÷14: Opened the blackberry syrup… again, I’m upset that I only bought one.

Great BBQ sandwich! Get the larger size, though, as even my wife complained about her«regular» size not having enough meat(normally a very light early eater). The potato salad was very average but the bbq overcomes any shortcomings.
