That was the WORST buffet I’ve ever had in my life. $ 12.00 for packaged mashed potatoes, packaged brown gravy, dried out fried fish, tough chicken strips, bland beans, chinsy salad bar, packaged ranch, hard hush puppies and dried out Mac and cheese. The cleanliness of the restaurant wasn’t the best either.

Avoid at all costs. No, seriously, avoid. Your bowels and wallet will thank you. The food was mediocre at best(read lousy). We paid almost $ 30 for a tepid and mostly well-aged breakfast buffet that consisted of all your favorite«farm to table» treats like wooden sausage, limp eggs, tasteless grits. Also, they have no oranges at the«farm» so don’t expect to any fruit juices(or fruits or vegetables for that matter). Also, it is a an experience to walk in the place because your feet stick to the floor(so do the chairs) and the bathrooms look like war zones. I imagine it would be very difficult for the staff to wash their hands when there is no soap.

Food was horrible! If you’re in the area go to the black bear… good food and large portions. The highlight of our meal at the beef barn was when we were leaving, it smells weird and the bathroom doesn’t even have a soap dispenser which makes you wonder if the workers wash there hands. Do not eat here! I’m on vacation and I’m all about trying new things but save your money and don’t try this place!

My friend and I stopped by for lunch and absolutely enjoyed every bite of food! I had the swiss mushroom burger and could taste the freshness of the beef. The side salad was delicious with tomatoes, onions, cheese and bacon bits. The grilled asparagus straight from the farm were amazing. Be prepared to wait 20 – 25 minutes for your fresh food to be made in the kitchen-worth it all! The staff and owners are super friendly and inviting. Looking forward to dog friendly porch area(we were able to bring our dog and they brought cold water for her) and the fresh fall cider. We’ll definitely be back soon.

Wasn’t impressed. Ate the breakfast Buffett. Service wasn’t that great and while the food was ok, if it was on the bar, it was nothing worth me bragging about.

Waste of time and money. The food was nearly inedible and the customer service was below average. They told us the buffet was fresh but the catfish was cold and nasty and the cheese and broccoli was crusty. We were excited for it to be a farm to table experience but it tasted like instant mash potatoes and canned junk. There were also flies everywhere. If you are in the area go to riverstone instead.

Stopped here on way to Cade’s Cove… although it’s under renovation we had an outstanding dinner experience! The owner owns several cattle farms nearby and the meat here is extremely flavorable and fresh… They will soon be adding an open flame grill for steaks and barbecue which I would highly invite anyone to try… The staff was very friendly(family) and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit… Even the spaghetti was outstanding as the meat sauce was homemade and made with their wonderful beef… This place is a real gem!
