Aabsco Body Shop

First let me start by saying I don’t give five stars often whether it be food, retail or a service shop I’m a tough critic. That said, Vince and the rest of the Aabsco team earned it.
I was in a minor car accident (someone backed into me) and beat up my left rear side panel (over the tire) and door — dents, scratches, paint work needed etc. Visible damage. I researched a few shops in Towson and asked the appraiser who looked at my car where he would go if he needed work done. He named a few options but confirmed he’d go with Vince @ Aabsco. Now there’s not a lot of online reviews about this place. At first that made me a little nervous but after my experience it now simply confirms Aabsco’s a hidden gem. Because I believe in giving credit where it’s due I’m going to share the secret, you’re welcome. ;)
I called to see if I could stop by for an estimate. Vince answered and said any time. He’d be there 8 – 5 the next few days.
Met with Vince, showed him the damage and also mentioned I was interested in getting some other paint work done (sun damage fading in a few areas). I figured since I was getting work done anyway why not take care of the other things in one swoop. Despite having a full garage of cars Vince took his time walking me through his recommendations for the body work and paint approach. Pros and Cons, costs, best bang for your buck scenarios. Visualize a neighborhood car shop in «Pleasantville» with an owner who shoots you straight, having your best interest at heart and understanding that you work hard for your money. Honest and helpful. That’s Vince. He could’ve run me up quite a tab but instead he treated me like a family member, advising me wisely in his trade. I left with two estimates, one sans additional paint work and one with.
I opted for the estimate with the paint work and couldn’t be happier. I dropped off my car Monday and it was ready for pick-​up Thursday. He even touched up a few areas that I’d missed because he noticed they needed attention (the tops of my two side mirrors). In short, my car looks sharp! I’m writing this 15 minutes post pick-​up. Vince and the Aabso team did an EXCEPTIONAL job and I’m forever a loyalist. He was the best price in town, his work was flawless and he’s just solid guy. You really can’t ask for more.
Vince, I’m not sure if you’ll ever see this review but huge THANKS again for going above and beyond and turning a stressful situation into such a positive one!
