I love coming to Moviestop on a regular basis. I love there $ 1.00 rental like the Redbox but I feel like there better lol. They have a huge selection of any type of movie or genre you would want. I think there a little pricey when it comes to Disney movies but other then that I think they are great. I love that you can come in and trade in your unwanted movies that are old or you just don’t want any more. I love the workers that work there. There so friendly and nice. I love this place. I won’t go anywhere else for DVDs either buying or trading in. I love the whole buy 2 get 1 free. I love coming in and getting more horror movies to add to my collection!

I love coming here to trade-in my unwanted/used movies! I recommend getting a «Director’s Club» card, so that you can cash in on extra store promos, as well as getting more money(in store credit) for your trade ins. They have a HUGE selection of DVDs and Blu-Ray movies(NEW and USED), and I’ve been able to find just about everything here. Keep an eye out for their sales, as they tend to be pretty AWESOME(i.e. Buy 2 get 1 free on used selections). Most of the time I can come here and find a relatively newer release movie that is used(but in excellent condition) for a really great price, so I always find that I make regular stops here before I buy elsewhere – however, it never hurts to shop around to stay on top of competitive prices… A Few things to keep in mind: They now offer DVD rentals for $ 1.00, and make sure to «like» their page on facebook so that you can stay informed on future sales, promos, and events!

Once upon a time, I had too many DVDs — over 500. As the next wave of technology came out, I realized it was only a matter of time until DVDs would be useless and outdated, and whatever I invested in the next medium(Blu-Ray) should be a bit more, uh, discriminating. After a yard sale that got rid of a good stack, I realized I didn’t want to depend on another yard sale, or worse, CraigsList(and some of the scary people that browse it) to sell them. If I’m using the money by selling DVDs to go towards new movies, I might as well just trade the things for the next best thing, right? That’s where MovieStop comes in. They’ll give you credit for your movies towards new flicks, and you get rid of the old stuff. The prices they give you are really random(generally 50 cents to 3 dollars for DVDs, and 3 to 7 dollars for Blu-Rays), and honestly, I’d prefer if they listed the credit amounts online or something, but they don’t. The selection at the store really varies, but I imagine they do good sales numbers, so the inventory probably turns over a lot. This store is located in the Putty Hill shopping center in Towson, next to Red Robin, where Blockbuster used to be, and is conjoined with GameStop.
