It’s been eons, but I have such fond memories of this place from my college days. This place is one of the coolest and tastiest places in the Downtown Towson area. I mean, the place itself isn’t tasty, just the… Ummm… YOU know what I mean. They’ve got some amazing pizza and pasta dishes. I was a regular here when I worked next door at the adjoining Starbucks. They’re not into all of the extra frills like many pizza joints in present-day America. But they’re also not super-duper plain like other joints, either. They take care to make QUALITY pizza that’s true to the pizza that previous generations grew up on, without it being overly rustic and ancient. I’d recommend anyone to stop by when they’re shopping at Towson Mall, or the neighboring shopping area.

Probably the best pizza in Baltimore County!(Maria’s in TImonium used to #1 in my high school days but they have gone downhill.) plus you can order by the slice. The French fries are amazing too and so cheap! I think it was like $ 1.99 for a big bucket of fries? Can’t beat that! Everyone is very nice and the lines go by real fast! This review relates to the Timonium and Towson location.

Being from the NJ/NY area, this pizza place is the best you’ll get away from home. One of the few places in the Baltimore area where you can order take out by the slice, Pasta Mista also offers specialty pies. However, they definitely charge way to much per slice for any type. Tomato sauce on the pizza is pretty good too. Key ingredient for pizza that a lot of places neglect. Great place, good pizza, and they’re pretty efficient. This will be my go to pizza place while I live in Baltimore for the next couple of years.

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been here over my college career at Towson. I am from NJ an thought I’ve had the best pizza of my life in my home state a few times and again, BUT, Pasta Mista has continued to trump them all… over and over again… Consistently the best slices I have ever had, EVER. Margherita, CBR, stuffed, plain, gorgonzola… the options are ample and seemingly endless. Their toppings are so damn high quality I feel like I’m robbing them at $ 2.60 a special slice. Like Really? 2.60??? Not even in NY or NJ will you find such amazing slices for under $ 3. This place is truly worth a stop if your even within 20−30minutes of Towson. I can’t tell you how many chicks I’ve brought here and wooed them with THEIR pizza. Now I have had their cheesesteaks and chickenparms/meatball subs and I gotta say I wasn’t as blown away as when I eat the slices, but i can’t blame them, my standards are now so high that no cheesesteak can persuade me away from that amazingly crispy, sweet and saucy margherita slice. OVERALL I really believe they care about every slice they sell, I mean if you look at them youll see they are perfectly set up with the tomatoes and mozzarell, the white veggie slice is perfectly layed out with broc rab and tomatoes. They really just kick ass and I will truly miss this place when I move back to the jersey shore. SOGOEATPIZZA. ESPECIALLYTHEMARGHERITASLICE!!! p. s. i would post pictures but never take even one second beyond adding some spices to look at the deliciously complete slice, so go see for yourself and good luck deciding what to get.

Everyone must love the regular NY style pizza. Unfortunately, I did not get the NY style pizza, and I did not get the wonderful experience of awesomeness that seems to be a common denominator among many of the reviewers. We ordered a large grande style pizza. The sauce was cold. How do make a pizza with hot crust, melty cheese, and cold sauce. It really baffles me… If I’m in the area again I’ll try the regular pizza, but word to the wise stay away from a grande pizza. I would probably up the rating if I had taken the pizza home and was able to reheat it, but my husband and I ate it in the car due to our hour and a half lunch break during a conference, so thus explains the rating.

I love the pizza here. They offer a good variety of specialty slices as well as your typical cheese /pepperoni. My favorite are the chicken pesto and chicken buffalo. The sauce is so good and the crust is nice and thin, how I prefer it. The wait isn’t usually too long, it just depends on how busy they are but it’s always worth it. And they’re always friendly! I just wish they delivered.

Since moving to this location in Feb I have now tried several pizza places and this one is my all time favorite so far. It is conveniently located not far at all from our house. The different selection of pizza to choose from is crazy! The only thing is the lack of seating if you choose to dine in. Fortunately for me I was planning to order for take out anyway so it all worked out. Will definitely return again!

Watch out for bad customer service! Apparently if you don’t put money in their tip jar, after placing an order for their carry out pizza slices, your order will likely get skipped twice, at least, in favor of other people standing in line behind you, who may have ‘tipped’. Also keep in mind, I wasn’t a regular customer, and it had been a relatively long time since I had been there previously. The quality of their pizza is definitely above average. Their cooked pizza though feels more like home made pizza, that one could make in their home(like Digorno frozen pizza?), instead of one you’d come across from a ‘professional’. Therefore, I found it over priced. Their stuffed pizza ‘slice’ with mushrooms, ham and other stuff was a bit ‘icky’. Their other pizza slices were definitely above average. Their pizza slices seemed to be price more fairly than their whole 15″/16″ pizza. Also one of the worker, gave an attitude(a little) when he placed the pizza box on the take out counter/shelf/or whatever.

Best pizza place I have found in Maryland. Everything always takes fresh epically thier cheese steaks. Me and my girlfriend usually get the half pepperoni and grilled chicken & onion. Always fresh and delicious. The salads are great too i recommend you try the chef salad

Let me start by saying what fond memories I have of this place. I went to Baltimore to see my old Uni Goucher, and stopping by Pasta Mista is a ritual for my friends and I. The place has gotten far bigger than I remember it, but the taste is always out of this world. I heard they opened up another one in Canton in the city — lucky lucky Baltimore. I usually roll with the gnocchi, but at the time I was feeling the chicken parm pizza and a slice of the ol’ standby … plain cheese. It is an epic journey each time, and simply delicious. I live in NYC, there’s good pizza here clearly, but for me and maybe it is a dash of nostalgia, but Mista pizza will always be the best. Can’t wait for the next time I come to visit!

Came through for the pickup. Food was ready fairly quickly, about 10 – 15 minutes. Pizza is about a 3.7(shoutout to the extra fresh mozzarella and pepperoni they use, a little torn on the crust), but the pasta, namely the Potato Gnocchi is pretty solid. Looking forward to getting back and trying some more of their dishes.

Great NY style pizza! tons of different varieties; at least a dozen kinds when I was there a few weeks ago. I can eat 2 of the slices if I am starving, but 1 holds me over very well. Pizza plus root beer = the best. I had a margharita slice with tomatoes, basil, mozzarella, and i had my eye on a few others. Will be back to try their pastas. Quick service and tables for sitting down.

Best pizza hands down in the area when it comes to healthy choices!(In my opinion at least) I always order the white veggie that is served with juicy ripe tomatoes, broccoli, spinach and garlic seasoning. The slices are huge and the employees are always fast, friendly and in good spirits!

I’ve been to Pasta Mista a handful of times. I typically order pizza or the eggplant parm sub. THEGOOD… –eggplant subs are pretty good –cannolis are good –the cheese pizza is one of my faves –carryout is pretty quick and easy –fair prices –carry-out is simple –staff is friendly THEBAD… –using canned mushrooms on pizza is a major foul in my eyes Overall Pasta Mista has grown on me. It is close, convenient and the cheese pizza is something I look forward to!

I’m from New York so I think i can be snobby when it comes to a good ol’ pizza pie. I’ll be honest, anywhere I go that’s not NY for pizza I think to myself«c’mon, how good can it actually be…» and let me just tell you: Pasta Mista does not disappoint. Whenever I’m in the mood for pizza, I’ll go here over anywhere else. The chicken parm slice needs some more flavor, but the regular pie, the Sicilian… good coming out hot. Only bad thing I can say is that the meatballs don’t taste/seem home-made, I’m thinking they’re coming out of a bag. Please tell me Pasta Mista that this ain’t true!

Great pizza in Towson, and a variety to choose from as well. I have also had an overstuffed italian cold cut sub which was pretty decent. Place is very small though and you may not have a place to sit down if you’re wanting to eat in.

This is the fast food chain of pizza place. All types of pizza are premade, sitting behind glass shelve for you to view. Once you have made your mind, the same display will go into the oven for a quick reheating. That said, it is not fresh. Only time it is fresh, it is when they run out, then they will make new fresh pizza. Taste wise, they’re ok, nothing to sing about. They are a bit slow coming out though, so prepare to wait a bit. Dining area is small, and very few tables and chairs. It’s odd that so many people standing around waiting to place order or waiting for food, while they hoover over the diners.

This is the soul-sibling of Sbarro’s. You go in, you point at a slice(or request pasta), they heat it up and hand it to you. It’s not bad, it’s definitely better than Sbarro’s. It’s not worth leaving the mall for, and it isn’t a real restaurant. When in doubt… you probably shouldn’t take a first date here unless you’re students and you’re both familiar with the restaurant. Just saying ;) No really, the food was fine, I had the tortellini rose. It was plenty of food, came with garlic bread. I had to take half of it home, and I enjoyed it. Just… nothing to rave about.
