I should have read the only review because this was a scam and a horrible experience. You search locksmith in Google to see $ 19. You think you have found a great deal; a chance at redemption because you feel stupid because you locked yourself out. Don’t worry; you’ll feel much stupider when these folks come out. To open a door will cost you $ 169! By the way, overnight pricing starts at 5PM. I told the headquarters that I am not going to pay nearly $ 200 to open a door when I heard $ 19 to come out and $ 25 to start. He said I was incorrect, which I told the locksmith to be on his merry way. A few moments later, I get a call, saying the price is now $ 95! Still too high for my poor, locked out self. I told the locksmith I will pay no more than $ 50 to open the door. I received a call from Robert, the supervisor, who told me that I was stealing service because I wouldn’t pay for the locksmith to come out. Folks, I implore you to make friends nearby, store keys in hiding places, do whatever you can to find a way back in. But, NEVEREVER call these folks to help you open your doors.

I’m calling the BBB on these people. Unbelievably poor service and treatment of customers. First of all they tell you the service call is $ 29 and labor is $ 25 «and up»…fine, I knew the«and up» price would be more than $ 25 but then they show up and say it will cost $ 249! Oh it gets much worse. Because I’m desperate to get in my house out of the cold(which I’m sure they’re counting on), I agree to pay. Here’s the really bad part. The serviceman then proceeds to not pick my lock but instead somehow pushes his way in cracking my door frame badly! It’s cracked. When I said it was broken and took pictures the guy tried to say it could have already been broken! The nerve. That’s some coincidence! He the says he can put some caulking on it and still charge me the full price. A quick repair on a door frame that needs to be replaced. I had to leave for a meeting. They then try to take advantage of my wife by telling her they’ll knock it down to $ 180. Then backtracks and says oh no it’s the full $ 249. When I call the office to complain, he tells me I’m trying to take advantage of the situation. Ha! I just want my door frame fixed. I told them I’m happy to pay for the service after the price of the door frame is taken care of. I also tell him that I’m in advertising for a media company and understand business… he says oh yeah just like every other complaining customer either works for a TV station or is a lawyer. Wow. The nerve of this guy. I’ve never been treated so poorly or condescended by a business. The end result: door still broken, guy just up and left the house with an unrepaired door, and telling me they won’t pay for any door frame repair. Warning to anyone considering these guys: do not use this business. It’s a horrible place, come to find out. My first review on Unilocal had to be this. Too bad.
