I was at first hesitant to get a cut, because I had a wedding the next day. The place had a nice interior, and my haircut was given thoroughly by a friendly stylist. The undercut is pretty easy to botch up, but they did well. Price is great for the quality of service as well. Perhaps a different name/​logo would help to attract more attention to the shop. This is now my new regular salon in Tracy.

I went here today to get my 9 year old daughters hair trimmed before her first day of school. When the older lady sat my daughter down she pointed out that my daughter had a tangle in the back of her head, I said that my daughter had fell asleep in the car after a day of running back to school errands. I told her I wanted to add a shampoo and condition as well. She looked at me and said, «No, you take her home and take it out (I assume the tangle) and bring her back». WTF? Like seriously? It was the weirdest experience ever. In the middle of me asking why she would ask me to do that she walked away and helped another customer. I got my daughter up and we left. My daughter started crying because she thought she did something wrong by falling asleep on the way there and blamed herself for her not getting her hair trimmed. I will never come back here.

They take walk ins, and I never have to wait longer than 15mins. Both the Mother and Daughter do a great job. Men’s cuts are super inexpensive!!! Been going to these ladies for years now.

I called before coming in and after a long debate over cutting my hair I finally decided to come in and I was welcomed by I believe the owner. Ann? She sat me down and asked me questions over how I’d like my hair and I told her I was going short and how scared I was after having hair down to my waist. She made me feel so comfortable. Very professional and nice definitely recommend this salon. Thank you :)

I think she’s the owner. She’s by herself that day. I know there’s another young lady works there could be the daughter. She did a pretty good job with my kids haircut. Will definitely go back there. She’s very nice & friendly.

I found this place thanks to Unilocal and the reviews convinced me to go. I’m so happy I did!!! The older lady was such a sweetheart. She listened to everything I said and after my 5 minute explanation of what I wanted, she very nicely gave me her opinion. I am sooo glad I listened to her. I initially wanted my damaged ends cut, long layers, and shorter layers on top to make my hair look «fuller» since my hair is VERY THIN and I am losing A LOT of it. But she made me understand that the short layers would make it look even more thin and I would practically look like I’m going bald. I ended up just getting my damaged ends trimmed and long layers and I LOVE my hair. I will definitely be going back to Bambi’s.

Been here two times & each time I was very satisfied with my hair! It seems like a mom & daughter shop. They are super friendly. I liked how (I think her name is Anne) did my hair. She asked how I wanted it, which way I parted my hair, etc. For the price it just can’t be beat! Getting a hair wash & cut only cost me $ 25. Mind you, that’s a pretty good price for the service. She not only washes your hair she massages your head & puts stuff in your hair that makes it so soft & they even blow dry & straighten your hair for you! I will definitely recommend to my family & friends! Don’t see myself going anywhere else.

I’m new to Tracy do I did some online research to find a stylist. I used to get my hair cut in San Francisco Pastel. I chose Bambi because of all the positive reviews. The lady took time to ask and listen to how I want my hair cut. After the conversation, she just started to chop here and there and seemed totally unskilled. The result was not was I asked for and the haircut was uneven at best. I will never go back again. How did they get all these raving reviews???

Personally I think they provide Great service, plus they take walk ins. The hours of operation are pretty good and they are open 7 days a week. If you gotta wait there are a few food places close by in the same plaza.
Ignore the lone 1 star review, it seems like you can’t please everyone and that reviewer is a habitual bad Unilocaler.
I got exactly the haircut I wanted and at a fair price! Definitely will come back again soon! Ask for Anne, she’s awesome!
Support a mom n pop business over those chains.

I got a haircut here for the first time yesterday. Unilocal pointed me to this place with its reviews. It’s a mother-​daughter duo and the daughter gave my first haircut after my wedding. She did a great job and it looks exactly like the picture I gave her. I will continue to patronize this establishment– love it and she was very nice as well and easy to talk to.

How in the world does Master Cuts get more business than Bambi’s?! The stylist here are super talented. I was shocked to be able to get an appointment right away. I wanted a trim and color because I noticed a few grays. The stylist told me that I really don’t need a color, just a touch up. Her honesty was endearing. She was sweet and kind of shy and she did a great job. I’m very much in love with my hair. I highly recommend.

I found this place as I Unilocaled to find a quick hair-​cut place last weekend. The lady I go to usually was not available and I needed a hair-​cut immediately. It was such a pleasant experience. The lady listened to what I wanted and did exactly that. I am very happy with the results and I will continue to return to return to this place in the future. All the five-​star ratings are well-​deserved!
Edit (4-​6-​2016): This place has really lost its touch. You get a very impersonal service now. For the years I have been going there, the owner has yet to greet me like she remembers me. My last hair cut almost made me cry. She gave me layers (that I asked for) without spraying it with water. She went to task on dry hair and it has come out looking like I like a child give me a hair cut; completely haphazard and uneven. Won’t return to this place again.

I am new to Tracy and took a stroll down where Bambi is located and decided to take a chance on permanent make up. Well I have my eyebrows tattooed 8 years ago and it’s fading out. After getting my nails done at Hailey, I decided to fill in my eyebrows in medium brown. Jenny the owner is awesome! She is very sweet and was concern when it hurt a little (normal process). I love my brow and it was affordable. And she also showed me all her steriled equipment. I will definitely go back to her!

Good haircut everytime. Keep up the good work. I like to try many styles of cuts and I am pleased to say it looked good every time. My kids first haircut was here and I feel bad because he wouldn’t stop crying but he eventually stopped and was smiling after it all.
