Holy cow this store is an absolute trainwreck. The aisles are messy, unorganized and the bathrooms have feces all over them. Literally 2 of the toilets have poop all over them. If this is a franchised store, the corporate offices need to take a long hard look at the management in place. Walker out after seeing the wreck in the bathroom and left my cart. Won’t be giving this store my business anytime soon

The worse experience I had in big lot stores was the one on Tracy Blvd, i bought a bed yestarday afternoon I was at furniture area waiting for 10 min no body was there help me, I saw a lady with glasses I asked her for help she says hold on I will send somebody I said ok I wait another 15 min no body show up I asked another employee so she helped I bought the bed and paid while I got home I see a big part is missing the store forgot to bring that out from the back room. I called the store I describe the issues the answered the phone and said no you are not missing anything and laughing on the phone. I went back to store again I saw the lady with glasses who I find out that she is a manager I talk to her she said hold on it took 15 min that she come back .she was un professional and very rude .she said no your not missing anything in the website it’s 3 box then I show her the sample and tell her how can I attach the pole .she went back and took 10 she found the box. instead she apologize she was looking mud .:she was so mean un professional she didn’t apology for her fault she shouldn’t be a manager I will never go to big lot in Tracy anymore.

This place has some pretty cool gems on occasion. Nice reasonably priced indoor/outdoor furniture and accessories. Got to catch them on a good day though. Decent priced electronic accessories too. Overall not bad for certain one/off items. Sucks that sometimes you have to pass strung out crackheads in the parking lot though, smh.

The bathroom was deplorably filthy at 10:00AM this morning, Ive seen cleaner bathrooms in third world gas stations. I asked a staff member if the staff had a separate bathroom(of course they did) and asked if I could use it. She asked me what was wrong with the customer bathroom and I told her it was disgraceful. Off she went without an apology to get the manager. I left because I(obviously) had to use the bathroom. Pretty clear statement about how much they value and respect their customers. I’ll spend my money elsewhere.

Great store to visit if you don’t mind the sometimes, off-brand names and maybe close to they’re expiration date caned foods. Friday is the day Big Lots gets their new items so, guess where I’ll be on Friday’s?

Big Lots was my Santa Claus this year My kids are generally not materialistic, and so don’t base their Christmas solely on gifts. BUT I’M MOM, and to my little one who doesn’t know it yet, I’m ALSO Santa. My Christmas joy comes from seeing people open gifts that I’ve sought for carefully, wrapped with love, and given with a nervous hope that the gift will be received with surprise and happiness. I plan gifts for special people and seek out the right color frame, or the perfect size handle, or the right amount of humor. Doing this on a nearly nonexistant budget is even more difficult, but Big Lots came through for me in a very big way this year. I got a bunch of stocking stuffers for 4 people, Santa gifts for 3 people, gifts from mom for 2 people, and gifts from a friend for 1 person, and special wrapping paper from Santa that didn’t match anything else we already had,(sneaky, but smart mom!) And spent less than $ 130. Christmas morning, the stockings were overflowing, the tree had a sea of packages underneath it, and there were smiles, laughs and gratitude all around for the carefully chosen gifts.
