The place is super clean, the staff is very friendly, and the prices are reasonable. I signed up for a yearly membership and don’t regret it at all
I just wanted to add that a few weeks ago I had a
Billing dispute where I felt I was overcharged. I called them and the owner was notified. Within a couple days I saw the money was put back into my account and the issue was corrected without any problems!
It’s that kind of customer service that will keep me coming back

Ok I had the worst experience… but your wondering why the 5 stars… I had a bad experience and I came back the next day and met Alex… I explained my problem and she did what ever she could to fix it… I had a horrible experience and that happens sometimes… im in customer service not everything goes perfect but it’s how u handle it. she did her best to fix my problem and make me feel at ease and to explain everything to me… if she didn’t do that I would of left so angry she does her best who ever hired her is brilliant! Thank u Alex for being amazing amd doing your best to make me happy! She deserves a raise for sure! Thank u Alex I’ll be back 2 maro!

This tanning salon is GREAT the staff is friendly and very helpful … Very clean just sign up for the VIP special 19.00 a month and the first month is free

Livermore, CA
Usually go to their Livermore location, but considering I recently moved to the area, it is often convenient to come to Tracy store.
Staff here is just as helpful, although now that I think of it, I’ve only come across the same young lady who works the front (usually on weekends). always prompt and greets you with a big smile.
space seems clean, although not as clean as Livermore I’ve noticed… Less moping and wiping floors and the towels are a bit worn and need replacing.
This location seems to have more beds but not sure due to it’s layout.
I’m usually in and out in 10 – 12 minutes-​never a wait.
I believe their hours are a bit more accommodating than their Livermore counterpart too.

I would not recommend Down Under Tanning to ANYONE. Yes, they have reasonable prices… but that is because they have low quality beds, a horrible spray tan technician and management is extremely rude.

The tanning beds are pretty out-​dated but they seem to keep up with their bulbs pretty well and I did get tan pretty quick! Just wish they were a little newer beds.

For being the first time I tan, its ok. Prices are reasonable, the staff is friendly, the place is clean but I’m disappointed with the spray tan. Before I got it done I explained to the girl exactly what I wanted and what my expectations were. She convinced me into getting it and unfortunately I’m disappointed. Not what I expected. I guess you get what you pay for. Other than that the beds are great and it’s a nice environment.

I just love this tanning salon! The ladies are always so friendly and helpful! The rooms and beds are nice and clean… I’ve tanned at several places and this is by far the best! Plus the prices are amazing! Highly recommended!

I’ve been to quite a few tanning salons in my time and I like this one. It is clean, there are a lot of tanning beds available, pricing is reasonable and the staff is friendly and professional. So if you want a tanning salon I suggest this one.

why are they so nice?! i don’t know why… but i love it. the customer service has always been really great and there is never really a wait. they ask you how your lotion is working out and give personal opinions. i find this very helpful and makes me feel comfortable. the pricing is affordable and i have never had a problem with any transactions. I really can not think of a reason why anyone would have a problem with this location… i have never been to the one in Livermore, but the Tracy location is amazing. $ 19.95 VIP is what I’m talking about!!! Doesn’t get much better than that…

I’ve been to many tanning salons and I’ll stick with this one from now on. The place is always clean and the staff is very nice. They offer great tanning packages. They have a lot of bed options too. They have a lot of rooms so there’s almost never a wait. Each bed is equipped with a radio/​cd player.
I’d recommend it to anyone interested in tanning.

I have to say that this is the worst place I’ve ever had to deal with that they don’t even deserve a single star to begin with. I bought a spray tan certificate for $ 69 thinking I can go there on weekends to get it done but each time I call to make an appointment, they turn me down saying that they don’t have any opening and they direct me to their Livermore tanning salon. If they can’t accomodate customers on weekends, they might as well close the place down.
I also called to ask if I can transfer my name to my sister since I recently opened a membership at Planet Beach which I love so much, they told me that I can’t transfer the name to another person especially if this is just for tanning spray.
Had I known I’ll encounter this bad customer service before I bought the $ 69 certificate, I wouldn’t have even bother. I feel that my $ 69 is just a waste since I won’t be using it anyway– I go to Planet Beach that has better service and more facilities!
