I went here to take my little brother over an allergy concern and I got disrespected and mocked by the horrible excuse for a doctor, I will never come back again, I feel bad for the children who get stuck with the Doctor we had. He is such a horrible person

Dr. De La Cruz is great! Every time my fiancé and I bring my daughter in, I know we’re in great hands. We can call and have our baby seen the same day which I love!
Story time: I didn’t have a set doctor when I first switched her insurance and of course she gets sick. I spent all night up with my poor baby and wasn’t able to take her to day care the next day because of her fever. I took her to her old doctor and wasn’t able to been seen (different insurance). Went to a second Doctor and they were closed for a meeting! 3^rd Doctor had no appointments available and wasn’t accepting new patients! At this point I’m on the verge of crying and feeling defeated. I just wanted someone to help my poor baby without me having to pay for Emergency room costs. Finally Dr De La Cruz came across my path and was able to see my baby immediately! He diagnosed her and gave us an antibiotic prescription. I’m glad I found her a good reliable Doctor.

For starters the Doctors are nice people so my review is not a reflection of whether they are nice or not. We started going to them because they are walking distance to our home, and there was a time where with only one car we had to be close to the doctor. The reason for our 1 star rating is this:
Every time you schedule an appt you will wait an hour or longer to be seen. No matter what day or time, or request to be seen by a certain time no matter what you have to wait. There is no well side and sick side, so if you are there for a well visit, you are sitting in a packed waiting room with kids coughing and sneezing all over each other. Then I feel like they try and do the bare minimum every time. Every time we went we seemed to be prescribed antibiotics or cough medicine. Everything else we have had to ask them to prescribe for our kids. Then on top of it, this last time our son has had a bad cough and congestion, first it was antibiotics, then when that wasn’t helping and we asked if they could write a prescription for an inhaler we had to make another appt, wait another hour to see the doc again and pay another copay, now that he needs a nebulizer we need to see the doctor again and pay another copay just so they can write the prescription. But again just so we can get a prescription we have to make another appt and sit and wait for another hour plus to be seen for 5 minutes, to tell the doctor what he should be prescribing our child.
We are not the doctors and it has been frustrating when our friends doctors are very pro-​active and very thorough without the wait.

Dr. Rodrigo De La Cruz as been our pediatrician since day one. He has really fought for the health of my son. He suggests his ideas and allows me to make the final choice, which as the mother I appreciate. He listens to my concerns without belittling the situation, and in turn he treats my son as if it were his own. He seems extremely knowledgable and on top of his game. Anytime I have had an issue with my son, we are able to get same day appointments, which makes life so much easier when something is wrong with your child. Overall, I am extremely pleased that Dr. De La Cruz is on my team for the health of my son.

I am so frustrated with this place! I quit taking my children here OVER 1 ½ YEARS AGO because they kept prescribing one of my children antibiotics. Numerous times I asked if there was a way to prevent her from having recurring lung infections, and they told me no. So I went somewhere else, and behold! There is a way, and my daughter hasn’t had one since we left the De La Cruz brothers.
Well, last week I receive a bill from them saying I’m 120 days past due and had a balance on my account. This was the ONLY notification I received from them! When I called them, they said that they’ve been sending me monthly statements since we left their office. They said they were sending them to my home address, when the one bill I just received was sent to my mom’s address, and this was the first one she ever saw as well. The woman on the phone was less than helpful and boarder line rude. How would I miss over 18 months worth of statements?
Not only do they not care to explore other options for their patients, they also have serious issues in their billing office.
If you do decide to go there, make sure you see Dr. Manuel De La Cruz. He is much more child friendly. But that is about the only positive things I can say.

I love that your sick child can be seen the same day of your call and that wellness appointments are given withing a couple of days of you call (AMAZING!) Doctors are nice, friendly, and attentive. The only reason this place does not get 5 stars is because the doctors seem to want to give my children antibiotics every time they are sick even is there is no obvious infection. As a parent that knows somewhat about the consequences of taking antibiotics when they are not needed, it scares me a little to see the doctor prescribe meds that my child might not even need. But That’s when my own judgment kicks in and if the doctor says he does not see an infection, but is going to prescribe antibiotics anyway I simply don’t give my child the prescribed meds.

THIS IS WHY OUR HEALTHCARE SYSTEM IS BROKEN!!! I liked this place until today. Got a bill from insurance stating that Eaton pediatrics billed me a total of $ 160 for an outpatient surgery for my 9 month old DURING his well baby check up. Turns out it was for Dr Rodrigo using a Q-​tip to clean out my son’s ears before he looked in them. That’s right, that’s $ 60 for «surgery» and another $ 80 for an office visit on top of the 100% covered well baby visit. Never got a hold of the billing person today, and I’ve been seething about it. Doctors like this billing unsolicited, non-​treatment as medical treatments to game the system for a few extra dollars! This is total BS, it’s downright UNAMERICAN! My insurance paid out an extra $ 35 and I got stuck for $ 117 for 10 seconds of ear cleaning with cotton swabs claimed as an outpatient procedure! DO NOT GO TO THEM if you don’t want to be scammed!

Both Dela Cruz mds are very nice. Feels like there part of the family when they see your child. The place is very clean and professional. Hardly ever have to wait for my son to be checked in. Best pediatric place in tracy.
