Gary’s Floors

I’m a General Contractor working on a job in Tracy. I selected a high end vinyl floor that Gary’s just started to carry, and the day I placed the order I spoke with Steven. When I met him in person the first time he was helpful. When I called to place the order I asked him what the cut-​off time would be in the afternoon for getting the materials shipped the next morning and he said he really didn’t know, but said I could place the order with him anytime before 5:30. I called back at 4:30 and he notified me he would only place the order the following day because the suppliers office is on the east coast. When I respectfully explained my frustration at the fact he didn’t bring this up when he was asked earlier, Steven got very upset said «you know what? I don’t want to take your order anymore» and hung up. My office called the next morning attempting to put in the order and they are refusing to do business with us.
I spent the better part of a day trying to find this product at another shop (as it is very new) and in the end found it for %25 less at QualityFlooringForLess in San Francisco.
I was counting on Gary’s, and now my customer will not have his floor in before Christmas because of one guy with an attitude.

They did a great job replacing my bathroom floor. Fast, dependable and reliable. Very professional.

Recently purchased a custom area rug from Gary’s Floors. Service was second to none and the carpet is beautifully finished. Time to complete order was reasonable.
