I’m so excited they opened a 2nd location in Tracy! High tech state of the art experience(in fact, Dr. Shiao is an instructor in the Bay Area for the leading technology of same day crowns). The staff are very welcoming and super sweet!

I typically have HUGE anxiety issues going to the dentist. I have since I was a child and probably always will. I’ve gone to the same dentist my entire life, however my husband raved about this place so much I decided to try it out(after much convincing on his end due to my anxiety of changing dentists. My old dentist was just hard to get into with appointments) after being nervous all day about going to the dentist, I instantly felt calm as soon as I walked into smiling faces & sweet personalities at the front desk. Paperwork was quick & easy, the dental hygienist, Melissa promptly took me back was incredibly sweet & comforting from the get go. This great experience only continued once the doctor came in she put my anxiety to ease instantly. Extremely kind, giving me info on what’s going on with my teeth and what we would need to work on down the road. I’m still in shock how instantly all my worries disappeared so quickly. They’ve got a new patient in me for sure!

George and Janice are my dentists and always will be. I don’t live in Northern CA anymore; I live in SoCal, but I will always fly up to use my doctors. Keep up the great work Dr. Shiao, Liao and team!

Unfortunately, Dr Yi suddenly passed away in the last year. He was always the strength in the office(Tracy at least), and the staff pretty inefficient. This situation has only worsened, with his passing, caretaker dentists, and seemingly rudderless staff. Recently I called the after hours line with a problem of a painful cracked tooth. No one ever called me back. And, worse, when I called the office to say how upset I was, all I got was«oh, it must have been one of the other front desk staff»…(duhhh! Do we not have ANY customer service skills, let alone empathy? So, stay away. Whoever’s buying this practice is swimming up a waterfall!!! Not a good bet.

I cracked a filling in my lower molar last Tuesday and have been dealing with the pain ever since. Yesterday, it became too much to handle. After discovering my dental insurance only covers half of the necessary root canal and that Manteca Dentistry doesn’t accept payment plans I found Dr Yi. I called the office at 330pm and explained my situation. Their response… «when can you get here?» I was out the door in a flash. My wife’s cousin works here as a dental hygienist, so I won’t kid myself in thinking they took me right away just because. Anyways, upon arrival I only had to fill out a few forms instead of the stacks of forms most places make new patients sign and was in a chair having x-rays done within ten minutes. Dr Yi came back and told me I need a root canal, but they rarely do that work on the same day as you come in. His plan was to drill to the nerve, deaden the nerve to relieve pain, put a temporary filling in place, send me home with antibiotics and pain meds, and schedule an appointment for a week out to come have the root canal done. Overall an excellent experience. I Highly recommend Dr Yi to anyone who will listen. He is quick, efficient, and more importantly a genuinely nice guy who explains everything before he does it.
