This place was not that great. I had the seafood phở bowl and there was little flavor. My husband had ordered egg rolls as appetizers and we had to remind them that we ordered egg rolls after they had already brought us our entrees. Seems they had forgot. The service was okay. I probably wouldn’t come here again.

I REALLY wanted to give this restaurant 4 stars for their food, but there was this one waitress that just couldn’t do her job properly, so 3 stars only for Phở Minh Long. My mom and I arrived here around 11:45am on a Sunday and as soon as we walked in we could smell that chemical used for wiping tables, but we tried to pass it off by preoccupying our minds with conversations. We ordered 1 Mango salad and 2 #15(special combination phở), which has only ONESIZE at $ 8.95, so when the waitress asked us our size preferences, I immediately knew that she was a new employee and was going to mess up our order, and of course, about 5 minutes later she returned to our table with 2 #14 bowls, which was chicken phở only. We corrected her and she apologized to us by saying that she THOUGHT we had ordered #14. Word of advice for waiters and waitresses: ALWAYS repeat back what the customer orders! Not only that, she had to carry the two bowls back to the kitchen, which she decided to use both of her hands. Can you imagine trying to carry 2 large bowls full of hot, steaming broth with one hand on each? I noticed that as she was trying to carry my mom’s bowl, she was leaning a LOT towards my mom and I was terrified that the waitress was going to spill the soup onto my mom. Another word of advice for waiters and waitresses: If you have multiple items to carry, bring a TRAY or CART. You should NEVER try to carry everything, especially heavy items, with just one arm! After a 3 minute wait, our mango salad arrived, and I’ll have to admit that it was absolutely delicious — sweet, tangy, and a bit salty decorated with fried tofu and peeled shrimp. After another 5 minute wait, we finally received our 2 combination bowls, which were INDEED only one size. Although the waitress did startle us in the beginning, she did manage to make up for her mistakes with the mango salad and phở. Now, the phở is definitely different from the two locations near Grant Line because it’s not as watered down and has more flavor. Not only that, they served us with more meat and fat, and a proportionate amount of noodles. Overall, the food were well proportioned with more flavor, but that waitress just needs to keep practicing with her communication skills.

Ordered«phở dac biet». Food was great compared to what i can find around town. Besides their food, their services was excellent! Workers there are very attentive to your needs. Try Phở minh long, you wont be disappointed.

Located in the foodmax plaza. It’s a small joint. The Phở here is good. The workers are nice and service is good. I want to try their banh mi sandwich next time.

Right when I walked in, there were red flags everywhere. A customer was already complaining that they didn’t get their to go order after waiting for 30 minutes and people who placed their orders right after, got their food already. Moving on, my brother got his dish first which was a vermicelli bowl. My fried rice came out 20 minutes later and at that point, my brother was done, but he commented that the meat wasn’t hot when it came out. As all that was happening, they lost another order so the couple requested for their food as to go. All in one night, I wasn’t happy with it. I do want to come back and give it another try since it’s right down the street from me, but my brother and I have been jaded from this place.

I have been here several times and find that, while small, the food is really good. Excellent Phở. A little expensive, but they do give you a lot of meat! Their vietnamese sandwiches are great, especially the bbq pork ! You do need to ask for jalapenos, though. The chicken in all their dishes looks a little weird, because the slices are very square, but don’t worry, it is very good! The folks here are extremely nice, but English skills are a little rough, so I would stay on the menu if you can. Oh, they also have Vietnamese crepes! These can be hard to find, but are really delicious and unusual. This is another example of the wonderful variety and quality of non-chain ethnic restaurants in Tracy.

Went in here as a means of expedition to un-tested grounds and since this place is a walking distance from our place it was mandatory to explore nearby options. The place in itself is pretty unassuming and compact, but rather than normal u do get a proper greeting when you walk in. We were promptly seated and provided with menu, which was pretty familiar considering we have been to other vietnamese joints. We got rolls as appetizer, then ordered house special vermicelli and chicken dish as main course. Both turned out pretty well as the house special comes with a variety of stuffs each holding to its individual flavor and aroma. The dishes were served in a pretty neat fashion with space between dishes that kind of makes the visual appeal translate to your appetite. Overall, it was a good experience with nice food and good customer service, will be back for sure.

It was good enough, I’d be back when I’m in this shopping center. The waitress was very sweet, but she didn’t speak English very well. That’s never a deal breaker for me though! Iced coffee was good, vermicelli was yummy, but the spicy beef noodle soup wasn’t quite as flavorful as I’m used to. Next time I’d order the rare beef phở, and maybe try out a sandwich.

If I could give them 0 stars I would! This place is awful. First of all, they got my order wrong. I hadn’t noticed until I already poured the broth over the noodles and went to put the meat in. I don’t even know what the meat was supposed to be, but it looked disgusting. When I called to tell them they said I could come back and they’d fix it. I thought that meant I was going to get a whole new order(broth, noodles and the correct meat raw eye round) I asked if I should bring back what they had originally given me and she said«No». When I got there I was handed a tiny amount of the raw eye round wrapped in plastic wrap… not what I consider good service. I took it home and microwaved my broth so that it was hot enough to cook the meat. The flavor of the broth was subpar. After all that nonsense… my husband got food poisoning from their food. The next day my husband had to miss work because he felt so sick(fever, diarrhea and body aches) sorry for the TMI. That was the only thing he had eaten different than me the day before. He ate the meat that I didn’t recognize from my original order and his Phở that had tripe and tendon. I will continue giving Phở Real Grill & Vietnamese Bistro my business, because they really deserve it!

Not the best but also not the worst. I have tried Saigon and Phở Real as well in Tracy. I will say when Phở Real first opened, it was awesome. I really enjoyed their phở but as time went out the place got dirtier and the phở wasn’t as good as I remembered it. I had the the thin sliced beef phở,(forget the correct name) and it came out piping hot. The one thing I did enjoy here over Phở Real was the amount of meat given. They definitely give more meat than Phở Real. Flavor wise, it is pretty similar to Phở Real. The two things this place needs to work on is cleanliness and service. I just don’t understand what it is about Phở places here in Tracy that they cannot keep the place clean. Phở Real, Saigon, and Phở Minh Long all have issues with keeping the place clean. Service was okay. The lady came by a couple of times in the beginning to see if we were ready to order but after we ordered, we had to haul them down to get refills on drink and to ask for the check. It would be nice to just get a followup visit to our table asking us how everything is and if we need anything. I will be back because of portion size compare to Phở Real.

We’ve been back here many times since my first review. I’m upgrading them to 5 stars as I haven’t been served a warm beer with since since my first visit there. Food is still great. Service is still excellent and servers are very friendly. As before, we love the Banh Mi sandwiches and spring rolls. But next time I’m going to expand my eating experience to something new. I do love Phở and this is Phở weather! So cold outside! A nice warm Phở is just what I need to warm me up! Try this place out!

Wow! Coming from San Diego and living in the Kearny Mesa area, we experienced many different Vietnamese restaurants. This place was up there with the best. We really just went to get a spring roll and bah min fix, but ended up getting some phở too. The spring rolls and bah min sandwich were better than my goto spots in San Diego. Extremely impressed and we definitely will try it again on our next visit.

Even with lowered expectations this phở house is overpriced and underwhelming. This was my third time here because I like to try to give Tracy places a second chance. Ordered extra noodles, was charged for them but didn’t seem like I got them. Was charged extra for an extra fish sauce, I mean really? Underwhelming is my best and first word for this place. Overpriced would be my second.

Best phở house in Tracy! I am fourteen years old and I read the negative comments some people have posted and I can’t believe what they say. I love Phở and Vietbamese food. While I may not know about service, I know authentic foods. Please don’t take the authentic part out of restaurants, period! You dont have to go very far to see what I mean. My Mexican restaurants are becoming taco bells! My favorite is the combination phở! Enjoy variety.

By far the worst restaurant I’ve ever been to in Tracy. Service is beyond poor and the food isn’t up to par with the other similar restaurants in the same town! Here’s the story behind my bold statement. Mama came into the restaurant craving some fried rice. So of course, she carefully reads the menu specifically locating all the dishes that say«fried rice.» She came across a dish. «#33 Grilled Pork Chop, Julienne Pork Skin and Vietnamese FRIEDRICE» My mother even took the time to read out that description, as she always does at any restaurant. We were disappointed to see that when she had received her food, there was plain white rice. That by itself isn’t a problem. It could’ve been a mistake! So she brought it to the attention of the waitress, who was trying to tell my mother that what she had was correct. My mom then got the menu and showed her the description of the item she ordered. Then the waitress and the manager who was shortly called over attempted to charge my mother an extra two dollars because fried rice is an extra two dollars. My mother would’ve been okay with paying the extra two dollars if «VIETNAMESEFRIEDRICE» wasn’t written next to the number she ordered! And to add to our disappointment, the broth in the phở was so bland, it tasted like tap water. Seriously. Spend your money somewhere else. This place is a complete waste of time.

This used to be one of my favorite phò places here in Tracy since they first opened. The food is really good and not too pricey. But we came in today and service was terrible. Our server was not very friendly and only gave us one cup of water for a table of three. It wasn’t a busy day, but drinks were never replenished and we were never checked up on. Maybe it was just an off day, but we were definitely not pleased. I even tried staying up-beat with our servicer, and she just stared blankly at me like I was doing something wrong. Very rude! Not our first negative experience with this one server and I’m not sure if we’ll be back.

This review is way overdue. I ate here when I first moved in the area and fell in love with their phở. I haven’t been to any other place because I am biased when it comes to my food. Everytime i come here, there’s always that feeling of «I’m going to leave very satisfied» kind of ordeal and you know what, they never disappoint. Their broth is very aromatic and the flavors just lingers in your mouth and that’s a good indication of one hecka good soup. They don’t skimp on noodles and meats too, especially when I always get the large bowl of combination phở. I also order nem nuong(fresh spring rolls with pork) all the time. Although they can do better with the pork to noodle ratio, their spring rolls were still satisfying and the peanut sauce is also a good match to go along with it. The dining area is on a small scale, but it doesn’t bother me at all. The place can get busy during lunch time and I really don’t mind waiting. The servers here were also very friendly and they recognize you if you were a frequent customer. Phở for me is a cure for all my ailments and this place always deliver.
