This place is pretty good for alterations. I am short but curvy and have to have a lot of things taken in at the waste or shortened.
Sometimes the turn around is really fast and other times it is quite delayed; must be due to workload or time off from the proprietor? Every time I have been there it is the same gentleman working. He is very nice and seems knowledgeable. Prices are as much or slightly higher than others, but it is conveniently close to my house and has nice hours.

Had a bridesmaids dress altered here. I had my dress taken in a few inches. I was a bit hesitant because of the reviews. After talking to a few people who have had alterations done here, I decided to give it a try. I was not disappointed! They did a great job!

Had my bridesmaid dress altered here and it is in shambles. There is blood on it, loose threads everywhere and the actual sewing is horrible. I don’t have time to get it fixed anywhere so I’m just having to make due I would not recommend taking anything important here.

Had a last minute need for a bridesmaids dress. We had 2 weeks before the wedding to take a dress out that was now snug. They put a beautiful corset on her dress that made it better looking than before! Problem was now it was snug in the hips and we were leaving for the wedding the next day! The seamstress took the dress and had it perfect in 2 hours!

Over promised and under delivered. Took in some pants to have them hemmed. The tailor said come back in a week. Went back a week later. They couldn’t find them, then said they had a lot of work this week and couldn’t get to them. So they originally said another week! Of course I’m not going to wait. But it’s disappointing that they over promised and under delivered.

Taken quite a few things to have altered from prom gowns to dance costumes. Have always had a really great experience and the quality of work is top notch. If you take something in that is new to be altered make sure you tell them that it is a used item otherwise the state is now collecting tax on items that are new and need to be altered.
