It is sad to say that this school no longer holds the reputation it has in the past. I can’t speak on the Primary or High School. However, the lack of discipline in the school of it’s middle school students is horrendous. Substitute teachers cringe at the assignment to work there. They have had five teachers quit due to the poor environment in the middle school. Two additional teachers quit just this year because of the level of disrespect the students display and nothing is done.(vocal and physical outbursts ignored or reprimanded with negative points) Maybe the kids will get a stern assembly talking to by the dismissive one woman show in charge of dealing with all three schools disciplinary measures. The teachers that they can get in there are all very novice at best and have no experience in dealing with the control of a classroom environment or were removed from the depths of the ghetto school system that regularly experience drive-bys and gang initiations. There have been several incidents that go no further than the office and get swept under the rug to avoid the removal of their charter. Many of them involve physical harm of children by other children. Bullying is extremely present. My son attended this school and we only a couple of the incidents that we knew took place because the reaction on what was reported was so downplayed and falling on deaf ears there was no point. I feel I would be a negligent parent to allow him to continue to attend there. My son is and has been a straight A student with no issues in prior schools at all no matter where we lived. We were called about the opening and had been on a waitlist for several years. We were under the impression my son would be going to the school to increase his chances for a better more advanced education. This was not what we got. It is a school that allows kids that have been expelled from other school systems in after they have completed a six month waiting period. They pull from their waitlist without regard of the child’s prior behaviors or problems in other schools. I’m sure they are not allowed to discriminate, but what they end up with is a school filled with troubled youth. Similar to a juvenile detention center. Many parents dump their kids there for the longer school hours and no homework probably because they don’t want to deal with them at home and hope they will be fixed at school. That information came directly from the mouth of a teacher that works there.(and that is not true, they do get homework) In their first day of school assembly, which I attended quietly off to the side to see what would be said, was focused on how the students bullying and behavior was tarnishing their reputation. I should have known then, but chose to stick it out. Granted you may get more from the school the more you«donate». For those parents with money to spend and truly troubled children, you may be able to buy your child out of some trouble. Needless to say I could go on and on about incidents, bullying, inexperienced teachers, staff that look the other way… but I don’t have all night, so I will just say that if you care about your child do not allow them to go to this school. There are one of two decent teachers and long time parents riding on the schools old reputation, but if this school continues on it’s slippery slope toward a detention center, I’m sure they will lose them too.

Évaluation du lieu : 5 Tracy, CA
One of the top rated schools in Tracy and an excellent environment for all kids kindergarten through 12th grade. The students receive less time off than a traditional school because the days are longer, less time off during the summer break taken, and no staff half days taken. Because of this your child receives 10 to 20 percent more education per year than in a traditional school.
