Pizza is great! We love it! Customer service could use some help though… We love to eat their pizza but staff isn’t the friendliest when ordering or if you have questions. Almost as if annoyed you don’t know their sizes or what toppings they offer. Expect great food but terrible phone etiquette and customer service!

Been coming Up North for years now. This place is a hidden gem. By far best pizza in Traverse City. I could eat at this place 7 days a week hands down. The beer is just a plus. Keep it up GJ’s.

GJ’s pizza is pretty unusual, but SO good. It has a thin but soft crust, toppings under the cheese, square pieces instead triangle slices and is undeniably delicious! It starts with the beer flavor. I don’t know if it’s from the crust or the sauce, but there’s a definite strong flavor in their pizza that I’ve always likened to beer. It may not sound appetizing, but trust me, it is. They use a lot of cheese, and almost completely cover their thin, but foldable crust. Their unique slicing method just adds to the fun. Some people prefer one of the four mini outer triangles pieces that result from slicing a round pizza like a checkerboard, while I have always preferred the middle pieces with no edge crust at all. I’ve eaten GJ’s all my life and it’s my favorite pizza. Anyone I’ve ever introduced to it isn’t disappointed. Try it for yourself and you won’t be either!

Absolutely amazing! I am from Chicago where we are known for our pizza but this pizza was recommended by locals and blew me away! And the kicker is the price. I got a small pizza for less than $ 5. Crazy!

Ok, this is a party store… but the hidden gem is the pizza. The sauce is homemade and I detect a lil red wine. This is the best cheese pizza I’ve had since NYC. I never get toppings although I’m sure they’d be great, but the cheese pizza is AWESOME! Everyone I’ve brought agrees that it’s the tops.
