I ordered the chicken pot pie and a slice of cherry crumble. It was all quite delicious. The order takers seemed mildly annoyed that I was there. The indoor seating area was extremely warm; I would have enjoyed myself a lot more if it weren’t so roasty.

This is much more than just a place to get great pies. Don’t get me wrong, the pies are phenomenal! I look forward to tasting them all… The surprise for me was the quality of the sandwiches. I’ve had lunch here many times and have had a great experience each time. You can’t got wrong!

What’s not to like?! Pie pie and more pie. They even sell Gluten Free pies now which was great for my sis. I loved my cherry pie and the hubs really enjoyed his mixed berry pie. The crust was a little underdone — perhaps too much topping or not enough on the par bake? But it wasn’t too gummy and didn’t ruin the flavor. Be sure to order your pie ala mode — the only way to eat it!

We really enjoy their sandwich selection. They’re not a place we get excited about going to but when we want something simple and reliable, it’s an option.

It’s my birthday. I’m from Detroit metro area, I have never been here, only heard tales. I approached, excited for my free pie… but I was pie blocked by another employee that told me they no longer do this. Here comes ashley, the hero of my day. Ashley, my registrar decided to BUY me my birthday pie, with her own money. I think there are people like ashley, and people not like her. So thanks ashley! That was amazing. Your the best. You made my day! #ThxForThePieHomegirl

Reminiscent of a Panera bread yet unique with a large pie assortment. Great breakfast stop

Stupendous pies! Enough said. All varieties rock, but my favorite was the Grand Traverse cherry crumble. Also, menu appears to have some hearty and affordable lunch options. Self serve is always a downer, IMHO.

Amazing Pie. Better than anything I have had in a wile. Got the mountain berry pie, so good I got so wrapped up in it I forgot to read the map I brought in so I know where to go next. Have to get a piece of the blueberry pastry for my girlfriend to try.

It’s a pie place. I’m judging the pie. Specifically the blueberry crumble. And it was way too sweet. And the crumble was raw next to the blueberries. For me pie is all about the crust and this was all about the sugar. Didn’t want a cookie. Wanted pie. So if you like cookie pie, this joint’s for you. Not me.

My son and I had the Cuban and a slice of Apple Crumb pie. The Cuban was very tasty, but the pie was amazing. Highly recommend stopping by for a slice. Lots of choices!

The most incredible piece of pie I’ve ever had! I’m glad I don’t live close – we’d be here way too often.

Pie was ok, not what I expected. Was t warm enough, but it was good. For me, not worth the calories.

ESTPIESEVER. The brunch menu is also amazing. They always have a line but it moves fast. The pies are worth it anyways. You can get a single slice or a full pie. The staff is always friendly. I don’t think I have gone and they didn’t have the kind of pie I wanted. They are baked fresh daily.

Came in for a quick breakfast with the family. Pleasantly surprise how awesome the quiche were. The kids loved their oatmeal breakfast too! Great service and relaxing ambiance plus good tunes. Check it out and you won’t regret it.

Pretty good food for the price. WAY better than Panera Bread, more complex flavor profiles. Authentic tasting. Too hard to read the menu though, please consider different fonts, background/words in more abstract colors.

Grand Traverse Pie Company was my favorite part about my visit to Traverse City. THEIRPIEISSOGOOD! And it’s totally reasonably priced. Also, the staff there is really hardworking and all about pleasing the customer. I loved the combo meals that come with either a pot pie or quiche, salad, and your choice of pie. The cherry pie crumble is incredible, as is expected in Traverse City. I also loved their coconut cream pie. I wish I had this place in my neighborhood. Michigan needs to teach the SF Bay how to do a proper pie, please!

So sure all I got was a slice of pie and a large coffee, but that’s all I needed to give this place 5 stars. The workers were friendly but the main attraction is pie. Sure you can have a sandwich or soup, but don’t deny yourself a slice of pie. If you’re too full, buy it for the road. This was my first time inside GTPC and I’m glad I walked in. I got a slice of the TC cherry crumble pie and it’s not too sweet nor too tart. Just pure perfection. Definitely worth the stop, and I will definitely buy their pies again.

Found this place on Unilocal.I regret eating at the other ice creameries in the city, because I was so full that I didn’t eat my pie til I had gotten home. Once I had a bite of my pie I was hooked. Not a big fan of pie, but oh wow. This place is great! I had the crumble top strawberry rhubarb! The strawberry complements the the tart flavor of the rhubarb so well. So so delicious! Next time I am in Michigan, I will definitely make the drive back here. The pie is the bomb! A real gem in Traverse City.

I kid you not when I tell you we take the(almost) 3 hour drive to stay in Traverse City, not only because we love to visit, but because of the Grand Traverse Pie Company. They have the best pie in the state. 2 locations in TC. One is for profits and the other send 100% of the profits to charity. How awesome is that? My favorite is the crumble top strawberry rhubarb. My husband gets cherry each and every time. We’ve also been bitten by the cherry coffee bug. We always have a cup when we are there and buy a bag to take home. Another wonderful item is the Chicken Pot Pie and the Beef Pot Pie. Just like grandma used to make. The calories are worth every bite.

I am smitten with this place. If they had a location in Columbus, I would eat here at least once a week. They have a nice space with lots of tables and friendly staff. It reminded me of Panera, but less corporate and more of a coffee shop vibe. The food looked tasty and seemed to be affordable. I was singularly focused on pie, so I didn’t order any ‘real’ food. Their display case had about 12+ pies, as well as other beautiful baked goods. There was a cinnamon roll in there that was as big as my face. I had the Lakeshore Crumb Berry Pie, and it was one of the best pies I’ve ever had! The portion was generous, and you have the option of heating it up and adding whipped cream or ice cream(omg). I wanted that pie in my mouth as fast as possible, so I didn’t wait for additional accoutrements. It had a great crust, and a good mix of berries. This is worth a stop. Like, it doesn’t matter what time of day it is, if they are open, HAVESOMEPIE!
