This is a great place to find those extra special items to up your cooking game. There is a great section focusing on making your own sushi, with choices for nori and even folding mats. The staff is very helpful in pointing out items that will enhance and compliment what you are cooking

This market is well stocked, clean and organized. They have a great selection of noodles, sauces, snack items, and frozen meats/​fish. I picked up a variety of items today and am very happy with the quality and price!
The prices are very fair and the man behind the counter was delightful! I completely missed the baskets to the left of the entrance, the man behind the counter promptly offered one for the pile building in my arms.
It’s wonderful to have an Asian market in town to pick up staples for Asian cuisine, even nicer to be able to support a small local business instead of having to shop online. I will definitely be shopping here again!

I always had to go to Detroit or Grand Rapids for shopping but now I’m glad I can buy some grocery in town. There’s not too many Japanese food but they have Miso & kewpee mayo etc that I use daily. Good selection of snacks, noodles, & frozen food. Found Green tea ice cream too! They are reasonably priced considering the location (northern michigan). They have great potential!

Hooray for Mae Ploy sauce! I’m ecstatic that we now have our own Asian market here in TC. They have some great staple items that you’ll need for recipes, and I do hope they continue to expand their products. Great potential at this spot! I also saw the request sheet at the counter so I’ll be sure to add a few things and see how it goes.
