Vehicle was damaged by one of their service techs while at their location… Owners of redmonds insisted on getting three quotes prior to cover the cost of the damage created… Despite my efforts to be calm and professional with the crew at redmonds, they refused to give any assistance and continued to give me the run around. The story: I am an active duty military member who was on his way out of town when this happened. I informed them of that and they stated that they were not sure if their insurance would cover the damages if the vehicle was out of state… three days later after multiple calls they finally gave the go ahead saying they would cover the damage but only if they got three quotes, which I did… Being any smart business owner the redmonds elected to go through the cheaper company. And here is when it gets tricky… The company with the cheapest quote got in contact with redmonds to collect payment information… Redmonds then informed that company that they would be paying over the phone by card and WOULDNOT be paying any other way and they DEMANDED pictures before and after. That company however being a reputable place can not and will not take payment over the phone for obvious reasons… So what’s next? I call redmonds and ask if I can proceed with the repairs at one of the other shops… At which point JOHNREDMOND refused to pay any more then that first quote which was about 500 dollars cheaper then the other two places… He stated I have no other choice but to bring the vehicle back to Michigan or make another company match that quote and accept payment via credit card over the phone… All in all… This place has the worst customer service I have ever came across in my entire life… The staff there was very unprofessional, very rude, and made me feel as if I was the one who did wrong.
