The hotel is simple, small, two story, older, and probably 300 feet away from the beach with a little walking bridge to bring you there. Overall, for the price, I got what I expected. Everything was clean except for the sandy/dirty floor and the overwhelming smell of mildew. The a/c works really well! The parking lot has like…5 or 6 spots so make plans if you’re group is bringing more than one car. The hotel might offer parking at another hotel nearby because some sister hotels have that deal. The hotel has a standing shower(with updates, aesthetically pleasing tile, and the water was immediately hot with a powerful flow), a small sink and a small mirror above it! Then there is a small«living room» with a tv on the wall, a couch with a pull-out bed, a sink/counter space with cabinets above, a toaster, a microwave, and a mini fridge(that kept our stuff decently cold). There is also a window with big ugly curtains and the couch is pretty ugly too. They both seem old and grossed me out lol I would hate to be the one sleeping in the couch bed. Next there is the bedroom with a door dividing the bedroom and the living room. The bed is probably a queen, and takes up a majority of the space in the room. There are three nightstands in the room; two on either side of the bed, and one in the corner with a tv on top of it. The bed was squeaky and the springs will poke you, making for an uncomfortable sleep unless you’re drunk or don’t give a shit. There is a small closet with an extra blanket, and the doors are mirrors, which makes having sex really fun lmao. The day we checked out, we were mistaken about check-out time and were thus late. The employee who worked in the little office knocked on our door and politiely reminded us what time check out was and was really nice the whole thing. Overall, I would recommend using this hotel if you aren’t picky and want to be close to the beach, and possibly don’t have a big group of large ppl lol.

Great beach. We went on Sunday before labor day and it was no so crowded the beach was large though. The water warm, clear and inviting. We spent most of the day just enjoying the breeze, view and sand. I would suggest giving it a try.

I can not explain enough how much I love the beach and coming here just reinforces that notion that I do, in fact, belong on a beach and should probably just build a hut on one and call it a day. But, as I need to go through my daily life and can’t live on one, I try to visit as much as possible. This is a true«Florida» beach with little seashells all around with fine grain sand and a blazingly hot sun to match the incredible sunsets. I spent two days at this fine stretch of land and really enjoyed my time here. Given, I was there during low-season(see: incredibly hot and humid, but coming from Chicago I was happier than a schoolgirl) and it wasn’t crowded at all — mostly locals and didn’t really see any tourists. If you are looking for a side getaway while in Florida, I can definitely recommend this spot for a frugal yet nice getaway! Note: Beach house bathrooms close at 5:00, hit up the Waffle House across the street if you really gotta go after that time.
