My boyfriend and I stumbled upon this store while on vacation. What a find! We were amazed at all the really cool, handmade items for such an inexpensive cost. We purchased a couple of things as Christmas gifts and were anxious to get them back to NY.
Well…we accidentally left them in the rental car at the airport and the rental car company wasn’t able to locate them. Sad face.
So, I called Florida Shell Shop and described some of the items we had purchased over the phone. The gentleman found the things I was describing quickly and is shipping them to my house! The staff there is extremely polite and helpful. They are also incredibly knowledgeable. (I didn’t think anyone could know that much about sea shells.) This is a great and unique place.

I will say that I really love the Florida Shell Shop. My husband has been going here his whole life and I have been visiting for the past four years. I get that some might object to items taken out of the wild and sold, but the Shell shop is a true gem. Everything that personifies Florida is here, minus the tourist feel. Its a one of a kind place.

OMG!!! I absolutely love this store! Linda and her baby dog (don’t get mad Linda I can’t remember the name). Linda is so incredibly helpful and can tell you anything about anything in there! My daughter is a shell fanatic even though she was born and raised in Florida.
There is so many great and unusual gifts in this store. My daughter and I have been 4 times but I just forget to check-​in. It may not be a stop on your list but if you are in the area it might be worth your while to stop. Me? I’m glad my daughter asked to us to stop. As I am sure that I will find any reason I can to go back.
