The appetizers are well worth the trip itself. The God we had was excellent! Loved it!

Friendly staff, good drink selection, clean and decent décor, and pretty good grub! I had the black and blue burger which admittedly was a bit dry. But the seasoning was good, bun was great and the blue cheese on point. The fries were the real winner of my meal– really crispy! My husband got a cheese pizza, made in house. They do thin crust and I must say the sauce was good– sweet which is how I like it– and the amount of cheese was perfect. We each has a beer– they had an IPA on tap that I had never heard of, which I love in a local spot, and it was hoppy and refreshing. We plan to make the half hour drive again soon with some friends to sample more food

One of my favorite local pubs. Best horseshoe anywhere. Wings and pizza are good too. Good beer selection.

I never thought we’d get a decent restaurant in such a small town. Imagine my surprise when it wasn’t decent, rather excellent! Takes bar food to a new level. Healthy options too and everything on the menu is delicious. I have frequented this establishment since they opened and haven’t found anything I don’t like. Hard to make it to the entrees since appetizers are so good! Staff is always friendly and drinks are poured generously. They even have gluten free options! Best GF pizza I’ve ever had! One of my favorite places.

I love the food here, large portions of upscale bar food for a very reasonable price. A gem for the middle of nowhere.

We were a frustrating(I’m sure) party of 7. Food looked and tasted great. Josh was an awesome and amazing server. Worth the drive. Catfish plate is my favorite!

One of the better pizza’s in the area, the wings are good, I like the selection of draft beer, and the help is excellent. Sunday has ½ price wings and pizza. A good experience.

I have heard about this place from all around the Pekin area. My son had been here many times with a young man from nearby. He always said if you are close eat there. He was right! A plain looking place. My wife had the pan fried chicken and wow it was outstanding. I had the Memphis Burger. It was great! I love little know places and this was wonderful the Abe’s ale was great a local brew which I was not aqua yes with before Perdue’s. Worth a trip on the wild side

Tried this spot with my son for the first time today. Food was good. Horseshoe for me, and a pizza for the boy. Great service on top of good bar and grill meal. I will bring the whole family on my return visit. I liked the casual atmosphere as well.

Great food and a decent tap selection. The ribeye was very good and cooked perfectly. The burger on Texas toast has the perfect amount of sweetness on the barbecue sauce. What a gem in downtown Tremont.

Perdue’s Grill is a modest-sized bar that serves some really, really good bar food. We started off the meal with smothered fries; crispy french fries served on top of a white cheddar roux sauce and drizzled with more shredded cheddar and bacon. While a tad salty, these were still quite great fries, and infinitely better than the generic yellow cheese that tends to come with cheese fries. The wife and mother-in-law(and toddler) shared a Hawaiian pizza. The crust of the pizza was super thin yet still had a good dough-y flavor, and I noted the pleasant sharpness of the cheese blend. With the pizza and wings ½-off special, I decided to grab 12 wings and split between two flavors: sweet chili wings, and BBQ chipotle wings. Happily, the wings were excellently cooked to start with: deliciously moist on the inside, with thin and crispy skin on the outside. Both sauces were excellent and pleasantly balanced. The BBQ chipotle was not too spicy, and neither was the sweet chili. Basically, these wings would beat out all but one of the places I’ve had in Chicago, which is saying something. And with the meal costing less than $ 30 for all four of us, it was a bargain to beat. I look forward to trying the burgers here the next time I’m in town!

This is probably the best non-chain restaurant in Tazewell County. Excellent food. Good service. I have dined here on several occasions(both lunch and supper) and have always had a great meal. Prices are reasonable for the portion sizes. If you are in the area looking for food, this is a hidden gem that you will not be disappointed with.

Enjoyed it. Good horseshoe! Hard to decide what to get, all were yummy sounding. Was brought here, reluctantly, by my son who had enjoyed it so much with some friends, he said we needed to come back. It was kind of busy on this Saturday night, which wouldn’t be unusual except this is a really small town, where waiting is virtually unheard of. That was a good sign. A large party left while we were waiting and we finally got seated, in the bar, which is totally fine by me, but the seats are terrible for relaxing and eating if you aren’t tall and lean. You slurp right out of them, all night, that was really annoying. I enjoy the fun of a busy bar, but the uncomfortable bar seats were a pain in my a55. One way to move patrons I guess. I’ll probably ask to be seated in the adjacent dining room next time, but it looked like it had the ambience of aunt betty’s kitchen. Horseshoe was really good. Finally! Someone didn’t use that nasty orange grunge from stadium nachos as a horseshoe cheese sauce! It was great, I would have loved to have just a tiny bit more, not drowning, just a bit more. I had a hamburger horseshoe and the meat alone was very tasty, well seasoned. The fries were crispy and tasty, just the right amount. I did not waddle out the door. Loved the addition of chopped tomatoes on top, very refreshing. My son’s horseshoe was ribeye, doneness to order, nice! We both gobbled the whole things up! We had an appetizer called footballs, little potato croquets, fun, tasted like potatoes. We spiced up the rather bland dip with yellow mustard at the table. It needs something since the potatoes were mild. Had a nice craft beer, one from Springfield. Going back for sure. Probably up the rating if good is consistent and seating is better!

Delicious Food, reasonable prices, and friendly staff. We will definitely be back! My husband and daughter had burgers, son had the pizza, and I had the breaded pork horseshoe(which was amazing! !)

Food was kick ass. The server recommended the Tenderloin. It was one of the best I’ve had. You can tell that it was made fresh. The place was busy. Service was good.
