Last minute decision to stop here on a long drive north. From what I can tell, It’s the last place in Utah if you’re headed north until Twin Falls ID. Not going to lie, I was nervous. The feel of driving through the tiny town at 1am into this movie set of a motel was a little scary. Never judge a book by its cover totally rang true here. Large rooms, pet friendly, very clean, descent prices, quiet, great customer service, free continental breakfast, safe uhaul parking. This place is just great all the way around.

It is nothing fancy but it is reasonably priced. There is a simple breakfast of coffee, juice, cereal and toast that was a nice surprise. We stayed here after having car troubles and the onsite managers were incredibly helpful! The whole experience was a wonderful reminder that there are good people who don’t mind helping others.

I was redirected here after the Hampton Inn had messed up business reservations. The outside reflects a past era in this little northern Utah town. Checking in was a little rough. The manager seemed new at the whole thing. They had written the corporate card number wrong from a previous phone call and the charge would not go through, so we had to have the card number relayed to them again. It cleared the second time and my colleagues and I were each given a room. The rooms are not luxurious but they have the essentials, bed, chairs, table, bathroom, TV with satellite, wifi(though it was a little spotty), fridge and microwave. The room was very clean and comfortable. There was noise from the laundry room next door, but that was survivable. Overall, not a bad room.

At least for the room I rented it was a full $ 20 less expensive than the name brand hotels down the road for essentially the same service. Nice clean rooms, breakfast provided and very friendly service. Definitely recommended if you need a place to stay in this area.

Wasn’t bad… They renovated the motel and replaced the carpet with hardwood floors. The best thing about this place was they accept pets! It was quiet motel to rest while on the road.

It seems expensive for comparable motels, but rooms are clean and comfy. Dogs are welcome and there is a nice residential neighborhood behind the motel for walks. Off the highway/no highway noise. Breakfast room was well-stocked but messy.

I drove right by this place because, to be honest, it looks a little like something out of an Alfred Hitchcock movie on the outside. But after the fiasco at the Hampton Inn and the Western Inn, I was so put off I decided I’d check out the Sandman Motel. The rooms allow pets and is super cute and quaint. The bed is comfortable and the room was super clean. It’s a bit noisy, you can hear outside and next door… But other than that, for the price; this place it better than 75% of the nasty hotel chains out there.
