AWFUL. I dropped of a coat and a skirt on Saturday(12⁄13). They asked me to come back on Monday(12⁄15) because they were closed on Sunday(12⁄14). I figured that was reasonable since I wasn’t in serious need of the coat. I went back on Tuesday(12⁄16) as I had worked all day on Monday and couldn’t get their during their hours and picked up my items. The skirt was fine but when I opened the bag for the jacket it was SOAKED. I immediately brought it back. The woman asked if I could come back later that same evening to get the coat and it would be finished. Upon coming back that evening, I was told«oh well, your coat isn’t ready yet so come back later tonight and it will be ready for you.» Inconvenient, to say the least. So, I go back later that night. STILLNOTREADY! So I go today(Wednesday), and the man tells me(after searching the rack for about 5 minutes and asking me what color my coat was) that they can’t find my coat and that if they do have it, to «come back tomorrow so you don’t have to keep coming back and forth.» AREYOUKIDDINGME? In the event that this coat was lost(to be continued) that’s an $ 80.00 item that I WILL be getting my money back for! I don’t know the first thing about the dry cleaning business but I do know a thing or two about customer service and this is NOT how you treat customers. This place has been beyond inconvenient!

Love this dry cleaner… until I met Pat. I’m not sure if she’s new there but my last two experiences with her was VERY disappointing. She’s all ATTITUDE and works like a sloth. She has absolutely no sense of urgency and turns away customers if you tell her you’re in a hurry. She told me today«wanna come back then»(of course with an attitude). No you dumb broad! I want you to pick up your pace, I thought in my mind. It shouldn’t take 20 mins to drop off 3 items! Otherwise a five star joint, I had to deduct one star because of how poorly I was treated by her. If you go, go after 2 and you’ll LOVE the staff and customer service.

Commoncents Cleaners is your standard local dry cleaner. Their prices are acceptable(but not great) and they complete orders within the specified timeframe(although they’re sometimes too busy to provide same-day service.) One major issue is that they do not open on time. According to the sign on the door, they open at 7am; however by 7:05 there were still no signs of life. This creates a problem for people who need to commute to work. I’m going to have to find a new dry cleaner that’s open at hours that are convenient for me. Update: I went back at night to drop off the clothes that I couldn’t drop off in the morning. The lady there insisted that they were open at 7am and that she was personally there. I knew that to be a lie, since I was there banging on the door at 7 and there was nobody visible in the building. I don’t like to be lied to, so I cannot recommend this dry cleaner.
